Once you pay it will say "In Process" for a day or two and then will change to "Paid" on the NVC page where you paid.

From what I read on the site it is down from 7 Pm until 10 pm... Should be back up a bit later...

I am still waiting for my IV bill to clear... Hope I did not screw up by paying it too soon? G=The guy the other night said that when you pay the moment it is generated, it sometimes causes an issue and it is better to give it till the second day to post the payment??? We'll see...

I paid early as well and had no problem. Only thing I saw was that it showed "Paid" a day later and then went back to "In Process" but I was still able to print the cover page so I didn't worry about it. Then a day later or so it went back to paid and money was already taken out of the bank.

Hey Ling Ling, thanks but I called NVC today to see if K3 sent to embassy, they said still in AP. Supervisor told me yeaterday in am its out of AP, I dont knw what to believe anymore. Im suppose to call her tomorrow and for what? , Im not sure, but I will call.

LOL I am sure nobody comes here after reuniting with their spouse. I mean I like this website and it has helped me a lot, but seeing so many people sad and waiting makes me annoyed at the long immigration process.

I've been calling twice a day, every day. Once in the morning, once later in the afternoon. Talking to an operator every time. I've heard "could take up to 90 days", "call later next week", "could take two to four weeks." I suspect they are saying what they are told to say, just doing their job. I plan to continue to call every day

OK... So tell me somthin... When you DONT want a charge to clear the bank cause you still have to run and put the damn money in to cover it, it clears in like MINUTES but when you WANT a charge to clear (my IV fee bill) it just sits there in the "pending" chute? Come-on ya'll, (talkin to my bank) willya clear the damn $ already???

Well, I'll tell you, I did the payment putting in the wrong account # and it did take a couple of days to be rejected...

As i told you the AOS bill is still pending, even if the AVR tells me they got the money sept 9th.. hope wont be the same with the IV bill... after so many months, now seems like a couple of weeks more are really heavy to wait.....

might be a stupid question but are you guys checking the automated line first? i spoke to an operator who said there was no case number but then rang the automated service the same day and it was there!!

I sent the e-mail sep. 9th, and received the IV request on the 15th

Good to know. I sometimes check automated, but haven't been doing it every day. Did you first discover your case on the automated system on a Tuesday US time by any chance? IIRC James' shortcuts mention something about cases being uploaded to the automated system every Tuesday morning.

Well, peeps, all civil documents are in and we are ready to roll. And guess what? Now we're sitting here waiting for the attorney to review our forms..... I even did them in draft and emailed them to him last Friday to try to avoid any delay. Had he reviewed and okayed them, the DS230 could have been emailed to my husband, who could print it today and mail it to me along with the documents. I'd be ready to put everything in the mail mid-week.

I'm ready to tear my hair out. I WORK in an attorney's office, so I know the drill. It p*sses me off to no end when I am told "he's been in trial all week," because I know it's not him filling in the forms anyway - it's his assistant.

He'll probably go home to his wife tonight and complain about me. Maybe I'll go home to mine and complain about him. Oh, that's right - I CAN'T.

There just aren't enough swear words to make me feel better.....

It took me 2 weeks. Approved on 31st of August and received my case number on the 14th.
