Does anyone got problems with the website of NVC???

I paid the aos bill the 4th of setpenber and the money were taken off the account sep 9th, but the website stll shows in process after 2 weeks.. i called 3 times, abd they said they would tell the supervisor...

Is it normal????

I also paid my AOS on Sept 4, it cleared my bank Sept 9, but it still shows IN PROCESS. This morning I spoke to NVC AGAIN, and the agent told me it's been given to a supervisor to clear it up. I also mailed them a hard copy of my bank statement today for them to see.

My husband also sent by email his DS3032 on Sept 4, but they still did not process it for the IV bill, so yesterday NVC told me I could print off his attachment and mail it in myself, so I did.

Hopefully we all get on track again this week!

Ciao :star:

This is from my previous post... Something interesting I found out tonight....

FYI... I might have just put myself in the same boat! Got some useful information from a really nice NVC guy (a very nice southern boy) just a moment ago... I called when the DS3032 acceptance did not update on the AVR...

I told the guy I saw the IV bill and paid it on-line a few moments ago and it shows in process... He said that his system shows that it was not generated yet and that sometimes, if you pay the bill before NVC acknowledges that it has been genterated (it is handled by a 3rd party) you get caught halfway in the system and the NVC system does not recognize the payment!!! So that might explain the issue with it not showing paid with others. He said that if by Friday it does not show "paid" to call and have a supervisor track it down and they can correct it!!!

He also said to update this on the "visa help website" so others know this in advance. He jokingly said that he can usually tell who has been studying as they are a few jumps ahead of the game, sometimes too many jumps ahead.

so when can we get sure that its the right time to pay bill?

I am referring to the IV fee bill and the operator said to be sure that the NVC shows that it has actually been generated. Best way is to call and talk to an operator OR usually if you wait for a day once you see the fee bill ready on the website, it should be fine... Apparantly the 3rd party gets the OK to produce the bill THEN send word to NVC that they have created the bill... If you pay it before this 3rd party had a chance to tell NVC that they created it... it causes delays.... ??? Most times the bills are generated and show up in the evening and are communicated the next morning to NVC, so I would say wait a day???

So bottom line.... it is GREAT to be ready to pounce the moment that it is available, however, don't ponce too quickly....

It seems like that, but i paid the AOS fee bill after the NVC actually sent the hard copy of the request to my wife's house... So i guess outher than that that has to be some sort of problem with the system..... or else theres no explanation for my delay on the AOS bill status...

I that case, then probably yes, some system glitch... I would talk to a supervisor until they resolve it...... bestof luck

I'm a September NVC'er as well. My I-130 was approved on 9/11 after only spending 30 days at USCIS. I almost feel guilty for being approved so fast. I didn't do anything special.... I still haven't received my hard copy of the NOA2 yet, but just checked the USCIS site again and I was touched again on 9/15, so I'm guessing that's when they actually mailed out my case to the NVC?

Wow, you do have me beat! I wonder if they have special rules for Canadian filers. It doesn't seem to take as long as other countries. I wasn't expecting to hear anything until October or November. Now I'm scrambling to get that last bit of info together. The hubby better go get his police certificate soon or I swear I will beat him! :bonk::whistle::innocent:

I'm a September NVC'er as well. My I-130 was approved on 9/11 after only spending 30 days at USCIS. I almost feel guilty for being approved so fast. I didn't do anything special.... I still haven't received my hard copy of the NOA2 yet, but just checked the USCIS site again and I was touched again on 9/15, so I'm guessing that's when they actually mailed out my case to the NVC?

Hurry up and wait, hurry up and wait.... I can't take it!!!! :bonk::whistle:

That would be the touch - they're getting it ready to send off to NVC. I had a touch after mine was approved as well.

(don't feel bad about your quick approval, I still got ya beat. ;):P, even though it makes me feel like a total #######)

Who knows with USCIS. There have been a string of quick approvals for Canadians lately - maybe because of the wait at Montreal?

I had to drag my husband down to get his PCC done because he kept putting it off even with me nagging him.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

Mal--if I don't have a touch after my approval, does that mean my petition was NOT forwarded?

I think a touch after approval is not a common thing. I wouldn't worry about it at all.
