I haven't gotten an interview yet. The average wait time right now from case completion to interview is 90-100 days.

Depends on the country I guess, for most people it's rather 1.5 months on average judging by the signatures/timelines.

I meant to clarify that my post was for Canada only. :)

Just out of curiosity, how many lines did you need to indicate your recent visits to the US when you filled out the DS-230? I see you're not too far away from the border (do you cross often?), and my wife goes across the border all the time for shopping and such. Even has a NEXUS pass.

Just got a letter today from Dept. of State, NVC, that they received our case and it would be sent to the embassy in about a week. I am out of town working and so I had my sister read the letter to me, so I can't post what the letter said verbatim, but does that sound right? About a week? Wow, That's great if it is the case. Thanks for the offered help and best wishes for everybody on their own journeys.

Seems unlikely that you'd go from NOA2 at USCIS directly to the embassy... not that I wouldn't mind having that problem ;)

From what I remember about her profile, she's filing a K1, which is how that happens. :P

NVC get the K3's & K1's long enought to give them a case number then off to embassy, UNLESS you get AP, like we did, so that is why we followed the CR1 and dumped the K3, its best this way.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Regarding the dates that I had entered the USA, I wrote: ''There are dates I may have forgotten and I have been crossing the border since childhood.''

I'd list all your major trips...but if you're older, I don't think they expect you to remember EVERY trip, especially if you're from Canada. Another Canadian wrote that sentence on an attachment page and she had no problems either. :)

I wrote, "Please see attached list" and included a one page list of all the crossings we've done. We're only 30 minutes from the border, so we cross quite often. We didn't include all of them because my husband couldn't remember all the times he has crossed.

when you call 6033340700, you will need your USCIS receipt number and once they have received you file you want to talk to an operator and give your email and your husbands email.

That's what I have been told anyways...LOL

They have yet to get mine, but I keep calling

First thing you need to do Bunzarelli, is change your ticker to NOA 2 Received.........

Yes call NVC till they have your case, then give them your emails address, then you roll on from there.

Been hanging around the August thread, but so many of my good June buddies are here. :luv: Things are moving sooo slow for us at the NVC, it seems. My fault - I didn't realize that when I had my case number, I should call & give email addresses.

Why is it that the closer you get, the more patience it takes?
