They should offer some sort of diploma or certificate of completion for getting through this process... But I suppose having out loved ones with us is a better reward!

Best of luck to everyone!!!

christeen, there is 2 diplomas/certificates, One is completion of sanity, and the other is the rest of your life with loved one in USA. That is the best reward.

Good! I will add both on my resume along with the title "certified sane wife" along with now being fluent in the language of "governmentese"....

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

We need those sanity certficiates to show we are sane when the next idoit asks us if we are crazy for going thru all of this.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

malika e alia..what is your whole timeline like? I figured since both of us are going to Islamabad we can use each other as a reference. Amazingly, Islamabad is moving really quickly- they processed my husband's k3 package in 1-yes ONE day...I was pretty amazed. However, we decided not to go forth with the k3 and move on with CR1 so I am still waiting for the ds3032 and the AOS bill.

Our file reached NVC on August 24th...I could not wait I called a week (well I tried to wait a full week) after our case arrived to NVC. The nice operator asked for my USCIS number, my name, birth date, my email address, my husband's name, birth date and email address. She asked me what did I need and I told her that I was looking for my Case number and she gave it to me then the DS-3032 was emailed to us then the AOS bill was generated and paid.

I think it depends on who picks up your call at NVC. I had to ask about something that was listed on their website and the first operator told me that I was mistaken. Now I know I can read so I just said ok and called back later and confirmed the information that I needed with another operator.

I wanted to ask... when the ds-3032 is emailed to you do you just fill out the info online and email it back? and also what email address do i have to email it back to them through? just a little confused. Thanks everyone

I would return it by e-mail AND send it by snail mail as I have read that sometimes it is processed faster with the regular mail than the e-mail (because the e-mail sorting is outsourced)??

This is something I'm curious about myself. It seems like the NVC now send the DS-3032 form electronically, attached as a PDF, and from my understanding most are having their spouses sign it, scan it, and send it back that way.

But has anyone attempted just sending an e-mail without an attached form? If this is the case, we really should update the wikipedia entry to reflect that e-mailing the DS-3032 in this manner is no longer feasible.

I strictly used the VJ template, with no attachment. As you can see by my timeline, my DS3032 was accepted in 6 days.
