Contrats!!! Hubby got his GC so hopefully yours will come this week!!!

Christeen, tell us again the bedtime story about how wonderful it is to have your husband on the same land mass....

<-----------listens with eyes wide and chin resting on hands, elbows on tables.:pop:

LMAO!!!:rofl::rofl: And I really AM Laughing my A$$ off because my husband had to fly out at 6PM to Venezuela to fix a ship in port there!!! So I don't even have him on the same land mass... But he should be back on Thursday !!!!!

His new job has him jumping around a bit, a few days away at sea or in a port, a few days home... I suppose it keeps us from bickering too much and eases the adjustment... Plus he LOVES what he is doing, fixing the ships AND getting to come home every few days... This past weekend we had the entire 4 days together and I cooked a big Thankgiving dinner and we put up the Christmas Decorations and tree... It was the first time we got to do that together in 9 years!!! He was always working on the ship during Christmas...

I suppose it will be strange for me to actually be home for the holidays... Normally I am on the cruise with him for x-mas and New Years... But it will be FUN!!! All in all it has been a bit of an adjustment and we are still getting setteled... Our sleep schedules are opposite ( I am a night owl and he is asleep by 9 PM) but it is sometimes reassuing to hear him breathing in the bed while I am up working...

You will get your day soon... Have your waiver and stuff ready to go and hopefully you will have him home with you to keep you warm sooner than you think!!!

Woww..... it truly sounds like a fairy tale to me. I am looking forward to the day I can shriek at him for slopping his tea all over the counters. :bonk:

Waiver package is on its way to him. He'll carry it in with the last of my savings (for the fee) and that's that. I'll be in a fetal position praying..electrodes & all!

Oh, hanging in here. I'm in the middle of my 3-day ambulatory EEG to determine the cause of my seizures. Life sure would be a lot easier for me if my husband were here. The wires & stuff on my head are heavy, and now my neck hurts. Nobody here to rub it, and can't get in a tub to soak, so I'm in for a bit of agony for the next 3 days. On the other hand, my misery takes my mind off of counting down the next 5 days.

Our attorney sent the waiver packet via FedEx, so it should be in Sir Hubbles of Hugsalot's hands in time. I read some waiver horror stories yesterday and scared myself nearly senseless. I've decided not to read anymore, as we've written our letters, the attorney has prepared the legal documents, and there's no point in reading negative stuff.

Truly, it's just in God's hands, ya know?

Wasn't there another interviewee today? Was it Abiding? It was in a country that does 2 interviews, I believe.

Any sign of an interview for you yet? I keep praying for you.

thanks for your prayers. you are in mine as well

it is a good idea not to read any more negatives. you will drive yourself to the looney bin for sure with that. trust me.

as for my husband's interview, i have resolved to only call in the evening. they keep telling me to call back by the 15th. i have seen some indian interview scheduled, but they are all in mumbai. no one in delhi it seems. so, again, patience is a virtue that immigration keeps in my life. <_<

I gave myself hope during the "scheduling" period by searching the ####### out of DHL. When I saw a package going to the Rep of Ireland, it gave me hope that any day now, we'd receive word. Interestingly enough, the AVR says our package was sent on Day X, but the DHL records show no package shipped to Ireland on that date. There *were,* however, shipments in the week prior.
