I keep on calling everyday. It's been 12 days now. I talk to the operators frequently. I wouldn't advice you to wait for a couple of weeks to call. In fact call them everyday. I hate listening to the same automated stuff all the time. I even have the options memorized LOL. I don't know why I am hurrying so much. I don't even have a sponsor yet, still looking. But I need an interview date of December. Hopefully we all will get the case number soon.

Opinions, please.....

We FINALLY got the PCC. Naturally, it has the CIMT that will result in our denial.

The NVC "civil documents" list includes court and prison records. We will have our letter from the court shortly that will simply state "no records found" because they are so old. Likewise, we wrote to the prison in April and never heard back. My husband called this week & was told that most of those old records are a mess, and it's unlikely they will find his. He told her that a letter stating that would suffice. She said she would try to expedite it.

I guess my question is this - would you all send your IV package with just the PCC and hope no RFE is issued for the prison documents? Or, would you hold off until you have that prison letter in hand?

I never did receive an answer to my earlier post, and I know that another September NVC'er has the same question...Question 19 on the I-864EZ form asks you to list your prior three years income. If your 2006 income included an ex-spouse's income (as is shown on both the return and tax transcript), do you have to list the full amount? Or just your portion of the marital income?

I've been so depressed over this. I have a seizure condition that is aggravated by stress, and it's been brutal for 2 weeks now. I am having great difficulty filling out these forms, so I apologize in advance if my questions seem silly. I read and re-read the instructions until it just no longer makes sense to me.

7/16/10 - AAO Appeal filed.

8/31/12 - AAO appeal sustained (THANK YOU, GOD FOR YOUR MERCY)

10/8/12 - USCIS sent file to Consulate

Julie, I would honestly wait for the prison letter before sending in your IV package.

As far as your income, I would put whatever is in the line for adjusted gross income and then in your letter write that for 2006, that line included your now-ex husband's income since it was a joint return.

hey all, just wondering how long you have to wait after you receive the NVC # to begin the next step.. It seems they send you the AOS bill and ITN number and a DS3032... My plan was that give them my email and my wifes email early which i just did last night (same day they assigned a NVC number. Have them send all this to our emails simultaneously as they mail the package out. Pay the AOS bill online when it arrives in my inbox. Use the DS3032 bill that they give to my wife (compare to the one my wife signed in advance) if similar ill just copy my wife's information on to this new one or photo edit it to crop out the bar code and place over the barcode strip off the downloaded DS3032 my wife signed. After all this Im going to email this for her on her behalf from my military email using outlook express.

So with that said let me know if this works?

1- They email the AOS and the DS3032 to us

2- DS3032 barcode can be placed over the barcode of my wife's pre-advanced signed DS3032

Julie, I agree with Mal. Wait for the prison letter, since it'll avoid a possible RFE cycle.

Regarding your income, you should post your joint income, make a note you filed jointly, and then include a copy of your W2 along with your transcripts from that year. My father's income for the past three years is joint with my mother, but only he is signing the I-864A, and I have confirmed (via another VJer, M_n_M, who is awesome) that in a situation like this, just sending the individual W2, along with the tax transcript, is enough for the NVC to figure it out.

Hope that helps! And that you feel better. :)

Jo once you get your NVC case number you will log into NVC site to pay your AOS bill $70.00 and then a few days later the IV bill $400.00

And then that one day your not able to log into NVC that means your case is complete at NVC. Dont worry, we are here for you as you go step by step thru NVC. Oh remember, once you hear you do have a case number give the operator your email address and your husbands email address!!!
