Congrats... For interviews check tonight and tomorrow after 10 PM... they update the system!!!

Miss CHRISTEEN.... shouldn't you be busy sprinkling rose petals all over the house?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

If the hubby arrived to that he would wonder if the cats got in a fight with a rose bush!!! He arrives tomorrow night...I spent the day making some closet and drawer space for him... But I am sooo terrible, I bought these "under the bed drawers" but I am too lazy to put them together so I left them for him to assemble!!! Figure since he's the one gonna be using them.... I know, shame on me!!!

But I did get him a nice espresso machine (as he hates American "gallon'o'coffee") and a box of chocolates!!! Space and drawers... He's on his own.... LOL...

Wow Christeen, so fast! Have a great reunion with him!!!!!

So FAST??? Been 6.5 years (9 if you count the time dating/engaged)!!! Not fast enough if you ask me... Hubby has a job here waiting on him and has lived out of a suitcase on a ship for 17 years... How much $hit can he have to pack???

Oh, I meant so fast after the embassy interview! I know you've been married quite awhile! Good he has a job! Still cruising right??? He should have only one suitcase!!!!!!!

I've been waiting almost 22 years for my hubby to get here... :hehe:

He has had his bags ready to go since last month!!! His new job will be traveling fixing cruise and cargo ships, but he will be home a few days then gone a few days.. which is probably better considering he has not lived on land with a regular schedule since 1991 (high school).... and I have been independent as well.... But it will be a joy after him being gone for 4-6 months (although I got to go on the ships with him often) at a time and only home here for like 2 weeks of each vacation!!! He is boarding his flight now!!! YAY

Oh, I know what you mean about being independent! Sounds like he has a good job lined up! My hubby will have to get used to me traveling for work every 2-3 months...and maybe I'll just drag him along occasionally! Hope your hubby has a great flight! I bet you can't wait!!!!!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

I called this morning myself--I'm case complete as well. :) Woo!

Congrats Spec! Had you made a Log-in failed too? Im just wondering if its possible to have a case completion even without log-in failed. Still hoping that my case is complete now... :-(

Logging in the website and showing the receipt page is so stressful... sigh :-(

But on the other hand, I am not losing hope seeing some progress on my VJ family... Congrats to all!! :-)

I did have a login fail on Thursday, musashi. I think the login fail is the normal precursor to case complete. I hope you get yours soon!

Thanks Spec. Congrats on your Case Completion. :-)

Kewl on the sailing thing. I can't WAIT to get on a replica 12th Century hebridean galley that I have my eye on.....

Because I'm obsessing, I checked the dhl shipments. They've been shipping a fair number of packages to the embassies since about the 5th, including TWO to Dublin, Ireland. Maybe mine??? Time will tell....
