####### i just thought about it and i didn't send in hubby's passport pics with the last group of paperwork..... i guess this is gonna cause a RFE should i go ahead and send em in r wait for a RFE to come....... i was so close to the end

Kristy

I would go ahead and send it in with the IV coversheet. Put it in a little plastic back and staple it to the cover sheet so they don't lose it. Don't forget to write case number and name of petitioner lightly with a pencil.

Sitting here alone on a Friday evening, and just thought I'd check in with the VJ peeps.

I was thinking earlier that the two most frequently used words in VJ topics are probably: HOW LONG

Just shows you how desperate we all are to be reunited with our loved ones.

I called the NVC op earlier (left them alone for a few days) to check if there'd been a miracle. After a quick slap to my dignity by the operator's sigh, I was informed that there has been no interview scheduled. So, I'm done checking. I'm pretty sure they're quite sick of me.

I've been spending time gathering together the evidence we'll need to show extreme hardship. My doctors will be supplying letters, as will my mother's doctors. I've got statistics regarding the Irish economy & such. My employer will submit a letter indicating that my knowledge and skills are particular to my state. I just pray it's enough. I *feel* the hardship every day. But I'm so backed into a corner and burdened by the stress of it all that I can't think straight, and I'm afraid I won't get it right.

It can get depressing researching the waiver stuff - you see the most heart-wrenching stories, and then read that they were denied the waiver.

Hey Julie... Happy Friday... My guess is that the sigh from NVC is because I am SURE you are not th eonly one looking for a Friday Scheduling Miracle.. Your probably the 10 gazillionth person calling before the 2nd weeks interviews...

As far as the waiver... Not sure how much "facts and figures" will affect the case... However, the more proof of need of care and your role as a caregiver and that your mother does not have other options is the better route... I would also be sure to be as specific as possible as to the daily routine of care and how she would not be able to find the necessary care should you relocate. Also make sure that you include your husbands role in assisting with the daily care and maintenance of your mother and household (not just financial)...

Hi guys!

I would like to share my happiness, this morning, I logged in to the page and I found out myself that it's FAILED. I'm so happy because, I worried about my thing on DS 230 about the address since you are 16. I put since I was born. Lucky me that they didn't give me the RFT(??)..

Hi Musashi,

I just couldn't believe my eyes also, had to make sure that is really Sign in FAILED. I will be happy if the AVR says something more that that my docs r in their system. I'll call them again on Monday night here..or have my husband call them also.

I hate the waiting game, sometimes, I just quit myself from everything and forget about it. This process just drives me crazy and lots of stress, anyway, I wish you have a good news soon. Then we can celebrate 'till we drop.

Cheers!

Congratulations to Natt

Got a cake in the oven here - the house smells "chocolatey" I'm imagining my husband peeking in the oven door, writhing his hands with anticipation.

Last night, he was really low. For the most part, he's a very optimistic person. But there's no work, and I think he may feel like less of a man because of the burden to me. He sits there and searches for work online, sometimes not seeing another human being for a week. It can't be healthy.

Christeeen, I'm told that I have to provide the official facts and figures to support our claim. In other words, I can't just say "unemployment is high" or "My anxiety would be exacerbated." I have to reference printed documents or doctors' reports that back up my claim. There's a lot of evidence to gather, and all we can do is hope that they understand the situation and judge us with mercy. I have some damn good reasons why I can't pull up stakes and move, and some equally good ones why my husband is needed here. It's just hard to remain optimistic when you read about others who were forced to choose between birthing a child in a third world country or staying here alone......
