NVC September - 2009 Edition

Okay, seriously, WHERE is Christeen, and why isn't she updating us?

Sorry guys... I had to go to work today... It is getting to be Christmas card season and I have a bunch of families that need beach portraits for the x-mas cards... Tryin to capture a nice family moment with 3 little boys trying to bury each other in the sand!!! Needless to say I got the shots, a bit of a sunburn and lots of sand!!!

Sooo, this morning hubby got up and took the taxi to the medical... Basically a taxi in Naples is a death wish, so hubby held on for dear life until they made it to the medical. He was pretty impressed with the clinic, said it was spotless and the doctor and nurses were very nice... Of course it works like most things in Naples, backwards... he was the first to arrive so his file was on the bottom and he was the last to depart!!!

Afterwards he went to the embassy to get his biometrics done... They were pretty cool to him too... Afterwards he treated himself to a fancy lunch on the waterfront and took a nap!!! Damn guy is on vacation down there!!! While hes livin high on the hog, I'm down here nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockin chairs!!!

Tomorrow he has to be there at 8AM for his interview!!! The lady said that as long as everything is in order he should have his visa tomorrow evening!!!! I am soooo excited...

I looked into flights and found pretty good prices for next Tuesday and Wednesday, but I dont want to put the cart before the horse...

10/8/12 - USCIS sent file to Consulate

11/28/12 - Visa in hand

12/10/12 - HERE AT LAST! (ALL GLORY TO GOD!)

my plan is to be up all night the day before my hubby's interview because of the time difference when he calls me i don't want to miss the call !!!!!! :hehe::hehe:

11/16/09- Medical done and waiting for result

12/10/09- VISA APPROVED (slip given appointment for tuesday to pick up passport )

12/15/09- VISA ON HAND ( praise god )

Did you by any chance call NVC when they sent you the RFE and tell them that your spouse will show the Passport PCC during the time of interview?
