At least it can be obtained quickly! Some PCC take a long time to obtain. Is this the only thing they need? If so, then it means as soon as they get it, you'll complete your case and be ready to roll. So that's not so bad, right?

This is my new positive attitude. Just trying it on.... feels odd. :bonk:

after you mail off the I864 package, on average how long does it take to be accepted?

Took them 11 days from receipt for them to review my stuff.

FINALLY a ray of sunshine for us today!!! The IV bill was invoiced just this morning and paid!!! I guess all of my whinging about that can end now, and roll on to the next step.

Yo yo, Lady Chipsalot, look at YOU two go!!!!:dance: Do you have the package ready to send?

Thanks .. and i don't understand a lot of things of this I864. His birth certificated is Canadian and when he was in the air force never needed to fix his papers, passport or something that NVC is asking us now.... :crying: I don't know if is problem that his birth certificated is Canadian, but i know that other people who aren't Americans citizen can be sponsor.. so i don't understand.. and in NVC just wants his passport or other co-sponsor.. so my mother -in .law will be my co-sponsor... im calm down right now but wishing be with him sooner.

I decided that im not getting crazy with all this lol .. I need to smile and wait & wait ... and enjoy

God bless you & Good luck in your process...!!! I hope than other person wont have this experiences.

Thanks for asking me!

Cheers Julie. No, we do not have it ready to send. I thought we had to wait until they sent it to us. As you know, I've got other crisis (how do you plural that?) going on, so have not been able to keep things as clear as I need to. He's got his police certs and shouldn't take too long for the rest. I already sent the AOS as well. Glad to see you are keeping your chin up. We all need to keep a positive perspective in this or we'll go insane!

ok, i just called and woke up the husband. he thinks he can get it by tuesday. should i have him overnight it directly to nvc or should i have him send it to me first and i send it to nvc? i hate that we might not get a december interview now. i thought we were so finished with this. oh well, i can't change it now. she said that if his interview was in mumbai then he could have just submitted it during the interview, but since it is delhi, nvc will sumit everything together.

FINALLY, the court records are here. I'm express mailing for Monday delivery.

Just an FYI to anyone poking in for info - you need certified copies of court records for ALL charges that show up on a police report. In our case, they even wanted records for a traffic stop.

Ok, heads up--if the guy who answers the phone at the NVC is named "Roberto," hang up immediately. He was, by far, the rudest person I have EVER spoken with.

I will be calling them again to speak with a supervisor, because it has now been two weeks since they received my evidence and they've done NOTHING to resolve my case. I don't want to wait any longer, period. Now people who've done the exact same things I have done, in the same timeline as me, are getting case completes (congrats again, donna!) and my case has had no progress.
