NVC September - 2009 Edition

So believe it or not... Naples contacted my husband back after we requested an earlier interview date (if they had one available) and WE GOT AN EARLIER DATE!!! The New interview date is Nov 4th (it was the 10th)... He will do medical on the 3rd and interview on the 4th!!!! YAY!!! I know it only saves us about a week, but we all know that in this process every day counts!!!!

Congrats Christeen! That's great news!!!! I'm glad Naples is accommodating!

I'm a little sad today.. NVC sent me a email yesterday missing some document of my co-sponsor (his dad) ( he cant get the document right now) well, but his cute mom is going to be my co-sponsor...

well just have to see the good face in all this and see how much he wants me there and show his love uhmmmm and wait &wait more again ..

Friends, My question is my ds230 can be accepted bfore anyway??? and after that just i need to wait for my I864 be accepted right?

wow just checked now and got that magical email from NVC. INTERVEIW APPOINTMENT LETTER

so our interview is scheduled on 16th of Decemeber

Your is comin!!!! I know it... I really hope that you get one of the end of month assignements... Keepin my fingers eyes and toes crossed fer ya!

I know we are pretty happy... It will the the first time my hubby lived on land instead of a ship... Should be a BIG adjustment... After so many years of this crazy life it will be odd for me too! I'm pretty independent... But it will be a happy change, time to settle down and move on to the next phase of our lives!

congrats to everyone who got an interview date or case complete. I am having a hard time with the whole waiting game- the aos documents were signed for on monday but still not reviewed...its the end and its just hard still waiting. I hope I can join all the people with interview dates soon.

Rhayder, i hope so too,, they are probably got stack with interviewing your log in failing is coming soon , it is about getting in the system and a few days for reviewing it. good luck

yes mary , your ds 230 can be accepted before your I864 arrives there , try to send the sencond CO sponsor doc as soon as posibble ,, once they review your Ds230 and every thing is "okay" with it they will send you an email saying they are waiting for your Aos , once that is send and reviewed your case will be completed, good luck

And yes, my mother in law is sending the papers saturday after she get all her papers ready..

What document are they looking for? Your timeline says they accepted your Affidavit of Support.

Are they looking for documentation of your father-in-law's income? Or are they saying you need another co-sponsor?

Believe me, I know you're sad, and it feels like you're falling behind. It causes such a sense of panic to see people who were approved AFTER you getting their interviews. I'm sure we're all happy for those getting case complete and interviews. But one cannot help feeling a sense of sadness that we're still sitting here with no progress. And then... the guilts sets in for diminishing someone else's joy.

Never fear - I'm still here. You're not alone.

At this point, I'm re-thinking whether I'll get a December interview. My husband mailed the court records PRIORITY MAIL a week ago from Ireland. He mailed a package the same day REGULAR mail. Guess what? The non-priority mail arrived today. The court records (mailed PRIORITY) are still not here.

I'll next-day air the papers as soon as I get them, and I'm hoping we get reviewed in time for a December interview. Dublin takes a while to schedule, though, so while I hope for a December interview, it's probably going to be January. And then I've got 6 months after THAT for London to adjudicate the waiver we'll need after our denial.

Amen to that. All I can say is maybe try to find something else to occupy your time while you wait. Impossible, I know, but it's all I can think of. If I master it myself, I'll be the first to let you know!

AOS is the affadavit of Support package... otherwise know as the 864 package.... Hope you get the info to them soon, but they will continue to review the 230 package as they are seperate...

Congrats to all with good news! I too received my interview date email from NVC! it's Dec 1, 2009!

Congrats, I know that you have been very anxious to know when you interview... Now, you need to keep checking with NVC to see the actual day they mail the package then you can do the DHL tracking if you still wanted to...
