Just called NVC and AVR told me that "NVC reviewed your documents and found a missing document... blah blah blah" and I talked to the operator and they confirmed that I need to submit my wife's birth certificate...

Im starting to loose my temper to NVC. Its been 2 weeks since they received our DS-230 package, and now they are telling me that I have an RFE for a birth certificate which i am certain that I include it in the package. I photocopied every documents I sent to them for my personal copy and I am 100% sure that its there.. and now they are asking for it again and again...

and worst thing is its an orignal copy from NSO... so we need to get another copy from the Philippines.. and another worst thing is as per the OP, I cannot send this document that they are claiming missing until I received an email from them that they are needing this docs.

How can they be so careless??? Im so stressed!!!

Anyways, has anyone here have the same experience? needed your expertise on what is the faster move we can do.

Im just so thankful that I have a VJ family here whom I can run to... Thanks again....

Samething here, just called and got the same response. Spoke to an operator and was told that they are awaiting the application of my wife's visa and that I should not be worried about it since I send that in last week.

Got a bit worried there because I sopke lastnight to them regarding my AoS package which was accepted.

I cannot send this document that they are claiming missing until I received an email from them that they are needing this docs.

I also received this same sing-song from an operator, who told me they issued a request on October 20th, then said oh, it hasn't been sent out yet. I've received no email. Five hours later, I called again and spoke to someone different, who told me I could simply re-print the cover sheet from the invoice page and send the missing document (in our case, court records) back to the NVC.

Has anybody had luck sending a document in before the "official" email requesting it?

Hi to all here! I just want to tell that I just called NVC tonight and I already have interview date: Dec. 04, 2009 at 6:30AM at U.S. Embassy Manila Philippines. I thought i need to wait until 2nd week of November but God is really great.

I understand how you feel I wated about 11 days to NVC accept my DS230 and I have some feeling I ll get RFE regard DS230 they ll lost something

I sent mine in like that, and I've got no idea if it'll work or not--it's been over a week since it was delivered and they've yet to process it. (I am *extremely* irate.) I'll keep you posted on it, Julie, since it's the only thing standing between me and case completion.

It is *maddening,* particularly because, in my case, the missing document is incredibly stupid, and a very simple fix, and yet it's now been nearly two weeks since USPS DELIVERED the additional evidence and they've still not admitted they've received it.

I call the NVC in my case USEM will be the one to schedule my interview --- PATIENTLY WAITING..
