LOL, I know what you mean by you are tired of calling them. They never give a best answer. I am sure you will make it on the December interview, don't worry. I will pray for ya!

does anybody know how long it takes to get an interview date from nvc after case complete? thanks in advance, i knw some here have their interview dates already

krammar i am glad you ask that q i am sure every one will have that q preety soon too after their case is completed , here is what i got today from nvc supervisor and i am gonna rely one it about 95% they no longer assign interviews for nov it is over and done with , since our case is complete after the dead line of nov assignment which was the second week of october .

Some times they do go over the third week but it is not guranteed , which i thought they would have done for this past week because of the holiday but oh well they did not consider that ,, all that said we are gonna be hopefully assigned for Dec , which they don't know if it is guranteed , i some times think they have to answer that way just to put us in anxiety and more stress , any ways i am gonna wait till the second week of nov to call them for dec interview hopefully all of us who had a "case complete" before the second week of nov will have a dec interview, let's keep track every one's case complete and interview here !!! god help us please for dec

You'll get a December interview, I just know it... And sometimes they do an intermediate scheduling the last week of the month... That is what happed with Paris and that group... But it will be for December, As you said, I think November is over and done... Sorry

Everything's going on good Lily. Hopefully I will have sent the AOS package by next week. I have learnt to just relax and not worry about it, because it isn't under my control to change things, in a way it all depends on luck. I have done my part now its upto God what He can do for us. Anyway don't worry so much, I know you would have loved to have a November interview date, sorry you have had to wait so long. Just be happy your case is complete. Take Care.

The NVC is really dragging its feet with my documents... sigh. This is driving me insane. If only I had known I had to prove my father's relationship, we would have had a case complete by now. Gah!

woooo hoooo, sign on has been updated back to status as paid i am so happy that they did not make me wait 3 weeks. i would have driven to new hampshire myself

thanks i guess i was freaking out because since i apparently paid before it was invoiced, they are having to manually enter in my payment which is supposed to take up to 3 weeks (10-15 business days) thus i am praying it won't screw up my "log-in fail".

Yes, sounds like a packet review thing... Keep on them about the payment (with a supervisor), it should not take more than 5 days to sort out, in the meantime, they are reviewing your packet so you are fine....

How many IV Fee Bill emails did you get? I paid early as you did, and got three IV Fee bill emails, each with different dates on them. Also in the same boat as you are... did you just print the cover sheet for the IV Fee Bill and send it in with your DS 230 and other documents?

i got two. one on monday, and another on tuesday. yes, i just printed the cover sheet and mailed it on saturday before they sent the bills. didn't even know there was an issue until monday. now the system has been updated, and the iv bill is back as paid. i feel such a relief that i didn't have to wait the 15 business days.

Well got a RFE for not sending an original certified copy of my Wedding certificate. called the NVC and spoke to an operator who informed me of the same, I requested to speak to a supervisor and explained to her that when I got the certified copy of the certificate the civil registry where only stamping the certificate with one official stamp on the front and that they started stamping the back the certificate six months ago, all she to me was "we need you to send in the original with the certify stamp on both side"

I called the U.S. Consulate in the DR to get a Point Of Contact for the supervisor at the NVC, who I latter called and gave her the all the POC information so she can verify the information about the marriage certificate..... But she reply once again with : Sir, we need you to send in the original with the certify stamp on both side"

Afte that all it came into my mind was a bumper sticker that I once saw " Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"

hey everyone, I haven't been on much since I have been avoiding thinking about the case too much- everything has been sent an the AOS packet will be delivered on Monday by FedEx...It good to hear how so many people have moved further in their case..

I got a false RFE regarding the AOS packet so I am not worried at all... Just hanging in now and waiting for the magical log in failure

my husband called AVR today and it says that there is missing info and that they sent us letter of document they request last october 21, my husband got only this email on the 21st:
