Lily, I think everyone here knows what you're going through. I think when we filed the I-130, we were all braced for the 5 months. You have to, or you'll go crazy. Now, we are at the NVC-the final place before the interview. It is just too hard to wait. I think the emotions are worsened because at the NVC, you do have some control. There are shortcuts here and there to make you sail through the NVC faster. So, there is added pressure.

I've decided today that I need to step back from all of this. It's making me crazy. All of my worrying isn't going to get me an earlier interview at this point. It's going to happen when it happens. At least I know our stuff is there.

Try to hang in there. I know it's hard.

thankyou so much julie for understanding me you are an angel i will try my best to hang in their , nvc said they just closed scheduling for "NOV" interview today, so i might as well calm down and see what they do for" decemeber " i say this but it will be hard, will see !! best wishes for you too!!!

The way I look at it is that I tried my best to make October. It didn't happen. I'm going to assume a December or January interview, and if some miracle happens, then I'll be thrilled.

I just realized our stuff got to the NVC on the same day. I guess maybe the mail clerk was slow that day, because we didn't make it.

Hang in there. We're all in it together.

Don't worry about it. In my relationship my wife is the claim one; I'm the rusher. It'll will be wonderful. I'm already planning Valentine's Day! I'm thinking of a surprise trip to Nova Scotia. She was talking about it couple week ago. Valentines day falls on a Sunday, so thinking of going on Friday; coming aback on Monday. I have to think like this, otherwise it will just be depressing.

I like your thinking , today i was so depressed and emotional , so when i talked to my husband this morning i was just down and crying , he was nervouse could not know what to do ,,, nvc is really depressing i don't know when i was in USCIS stage i was never depressed i call them here and there if i remeber to call and very calm and relaxed , this time around i call nvc like at least twice a day or so , and very jittery and have a lot of anxiety even days i say i am not gonna call nvc today , i will just wait till they let me know the result and i end up calling them any way is any one feeling this?????? or am the only one????? if not i really got to see a pschyciatrist, am being serious!!!!!

Lily, you are not crazy and no you don't need to waste all that money seeing a psychiatrist. This process has been a roller coaster ride for me as well. Some days I am thrilled, and some days I am just so depressed. I have to make a December interview date if I want to be present at my husband's interview, but don't know if this will happen or not. Don't be too depressed, look at it this way, you have sent all your documents in and now you are just waiting for the interview. I am sure you will make the December interview date. Are you planning on attending the interview with your husband?

I am sure good things will happen and hopefully no RFE for you anymore. Now just relax and wait until November when they start scheduling interviews for December. Good luck.

Aww! I am so sorry to hear that. I cannot even say "I know how that feels." It must be so hard for you to be alone and pregnant but don't worry it will be over soon. I hope your husband will get to see the baby soon. I will pray for you.

For everyone who is getting bogged down with the 2nd week of the month thing... I would not give up hope for interviews yet... The way I look at it, This week was a short week and they are REALLY backed up with approving stuff because of the mass approvals from USCIS... If they do not do an intrim scheduling, then they will be so backed up if they wait till the second week of next month!!!

Plus, there are MANY MANY cases where they scheduled other times of the month (Sorry Canadians, your consulate is another case all together and I feel so bad that they are putting all of you through this)... But dont think "this is it", there is still hope that they will do scheduling outside of the scripted "2nd week of the month" BS!!

i haven't submitted anything other than the ds3032

i don't get it

Ok so i call the operator and ask him why i got that email and he gives me an answer that sounds as if he just wants to hurry up and get off the phone  can't blame him, i called 15 mins before 12

he said i need to include the date of birth of both parties on any correspondence i send to nvc but i did when i emailed the ds3032

anyway i took the opportunity to ask if the ds3032 was accepted which i suspected, and he confirmed! so another small victory

now for me to put together a package to send to hubby
