I called NVC last night and got AVR response "We are expecting return of biographical documents from the petitioner " I asume it mean they expect my DS230 cos they already have AOS package but DS230 is on the way , I am beneficiary so biographical data are from me , why they expect it from the petitioner ?

confused

Hey, those of you that mailed the hardcopy DS 3032 as well: did you use the form that NVC sent you? Does it come in an email or in the mail? Or did you just download it off the net and then generate a barcode?

Just wondering, 'cause I'm guessing it's best to do both.

Just wondering what to do after IV bill showed paid on NVC webpage...

Does the NVC sent you another e-mail giving you instructions/checklist about documents required?

It's just that in order to obtain the police certificate from Hong Kong for my husband, the HK police department requires "the original and a photocopy (for each applicant) of the letter from NVC which contains his/her name and the checklist of documents necessary for obtaining a visa (the one that references the need for police certificates)".

I have no idea what is this letter from NVC that'll contains both my husband's name and the requirement to obtain the police certificate? From what I read on VJ, it seems like every one just wait till IV bill showed paid, then sent off the DS230 packet with the cover sheet. And NVC still haven't e-mail me any instruction/check list yet except to telling me to "follow the link to applicant document processing instructions". Oh, and the link that showed on the NVC webpage with my IV bill receipt and cover page is not working....

What should I do now?....I really want to get this all ready so that when I visit my hubby in Nov., we can get this police certificate....

Thanks every one.

sorry donna for the rfe. the way my husband and i decided to look at it (with the help of my best friend) is that he will get a chance to experience everything the usa has to offer throughout the whole year. he has never experienced all the season changes. india has 2 seasons, HOT and WARM ;) since he is coming in january (prayerfully) then he will get to see it from the git-go. i am coming to the airport with a coat for him

Give Generously, Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Completely...AND PRAY ALWAYS!!!

He is home!!!

i know exactly how you feel. when we first filed for our petition we were hopeful that I get to be with the husband on his bday but of course that is not to happen as his bday is a few days from now and NVC has not given us any update. just keep the faith and just hope for the best. God's will be done and just remember that this too shall end.

sorry donna for the rfe. the way my husband and i decided to look at it (with the help of my best friend) is that he will get a chance to experience everything the usa has to offer throughout the whole year. he has never experienced all the season changes. india has 2 seasons, HOT and WARM ;) since he is coming in january (prayerfully) then he will get to see it from the git-go. i am coming to the airport with a coat for him

thanks guys. i guess i feel worse right now as this time last year, i was about to head off to the USA to meet and marry my husband and spend all those occassions over thanksgiving and xmas with him. i was there 3 months, and i loved the fall and winter with him. i guess if i make it by december or january, like you said, i will see it from the beginning.. all the seasons that is.

its just so hard, and i feel so alone. no one at work knows im leaving, so i am struggling day to day there, and then my family, well they dont even talk about it with me koz they dont really want me to go... its so hard to get out my feelings.. and then here.. i feel like im always whinging.
