So, just to be absolutely clear: As soon as the bills are paid and the cover letter with the barcode is generated, I can send the packages in? So I should keep my entire packet ready and just stuff the cover letter in when the time comes? Or do the forms that the NVC sends have a special barcode on top? What was the whole deal about generate barcodes in the shortcuts. I understand that this is only for the AOS package and the DS 230. The DS 3032 can be emailed with a VJ template. And don't send in anything until they ask for it/or it is generated.

You are correct. Once the fee status show "PAID" you can print the cover letter and stuff the AOS bill in the envelope and send it.

As for DS-3032, from what I understand is that once your NVC case has been assigned, you don't have to wait for the barcode from NVC, you just generate your own barcode (see below) and sent it in.

Symbology Specific Options:

Add check digit: <No>

Add check digit to text: < No>

Show text below barcode: <Yes>

Can I safely assume that there's no RFE? Or does this just mean they logged in the receipt of the stuff and it will now be reviewed for missing information?

It will now be reviewed. I'd say give it 1-2 weeks for it all to be reviewed. When I got that message I called and asked if they were being reviewed yet and if the AOS package had been accepted just to give me some peace of mind. Although after I found out the AOS package was good I still called twice a day trying to get info about ds230 :) Good luck

same here, my ds230 was acknowledged October 14, I think it only means they entered docs in their system, not approval

Called again to be sure. Mine says "The NVC has received your documents on October 14th. Please allow 6-8 weeks to review the documents and notify you of the outcome."

its coming up to three weeks since i emailed by ds3032 and up to now it has not been accepted

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Everybody's complaining about how slow the NVC's gotten on the acceptance of the emailed DS3032. Makes you think that maybe snail mail is actually faster at this point???

I got a letter from NVC FALSO RFE. they said there Missing documents ds230. which i already sent oct 8 and Receive it oct 13, 2009 and they said just ignore the letter from NVC, they will update us. but the questions is? how long they will reviewed that?? hope everything went well to our papers.. I keep praying stay more positive

Sounds like a false RFE to me....

As far as the 3032... yes, it seems that they have REALLY slowed down on processing... Actually, the e-mails are processed by a 3rd party who seems to be overwhelmed... i sent a hard copy and it was received and processed first, then the e-mail... Just sayin???
