I am doing the same thing. I mean I am the USC but I haven't changed my legal name to my married name yet. I will just do that when my husband gets here, since our process has already started and I don't want to change my name right now and create problems. Changing your last name is not that hard in the United States, all you have to do is file a petition.

I have a question for everybody.

How long does the IRS take to send the tax transcripts? My co sponsor ordered it like 3 times (once through fax), and hasn't received it yet. I am just really worried, because I have everything except for that part. This is holding me back from sending my AOS documents. I already sent my DS 230.

I also had ordered my tax transcripts about 3 and half weeks ago and haven't received them. For me it's not a problem because I have my tax return copy and all that from 2008 but my co sponsor doesn't and we cannot do anything until that is taken care of.

Has this happened to anybody else or you all just received it in a matter of few weeks?

I called IRS and requested and got my Tax Returns Transcripts by mail exactly 2 days.

Do you have a local IRS office? If you do, go to your local IRS office and have them give you a print out of your taxes for the last three years, that what I did... it may work for you...

hi malka yes it should be on line , or you can call them and they can tell you the nearest IRS office in your area the number is 1-800-829-1040

wait as always ,, i called them today they said the just got the Aos in the system will see how long they'll take to approve this time ,,, thanks for asking !! hope you will get the IRs forms tommorow it is better you go to the local office like you said ,, to make things faster !! good luck

okay i have a question, the AVR is saying they have received the cheklist of the 864 , but when i called nvc to make sure they said they did not receive it in the system what is this mean??????? please helppppppppppp !!

OK, just tracked packages with DHL and there was a package picked up tonight from the NVC in NH bound for Naples Consulate... It is only 1 lb so I am assuming that it is mine since I did not have too much in the way of paperwork!!! I hope it is mine!!!

DS3032 has been received now, as you know, i am pretty ####### these days, and i was reviewing part 2 of the ds230. question 30 asks for name and address of the petitioner, then next to it, it asks for the phone and email address. is that for me as well? fyi, i used a different email when husband filled this out. so since he does sign it, should i reprint the first page and change the email? and phone if it is for him?
