WHOOO HOO!!! Got our interview!!! I am sooo shocked, I just called and the lady surprised the hell outta me, I dropped the phone!!! She told me just got in the system!!!

November 10, 8AM Naples Consulate!!!! Happier than a puppy with 2 tails...

Sorry to all those who have been waiting sooo long for their interviews, I pray that yours are coming soon (especially for the Canucks and their endless waits... )

I just cant believe that afer 6 years of being married it is FINALLY going to happen!!!!! OMG!!!!

That's so soon, only about a month away, actually less than that. Your quick interview date has given me some hopes, but I guess it depends on the number of people applying at the particular embassy. Hope you will get to see your husband soon! I hope I get a December interview date.

Yes, I am thinking that Italy is not a high immigration country so I dont think they are that busy... I am also going to e-mail them and see if they have an october date available as I know that quite a few have been able to move up their dates at the Naples Consulate!!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for all the others waitin for assignments and case completes!!!

That's so soon, only about a month away, actually less than that. Your quick interview date has given me some hopes, but I guess it depends on the number of people applying at the particular embassy. Hope you will get to see your husband soon! I hope I get a December interview date.

Yes, I am thinking that Italy is not a high immigration country so I dont think they are that busy... I am also going to e-mail them and see if they have an october date available as I know that quite a few have been able to move up their dates at the Naples Consulate!!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for all the others waitin for assignments and case completes!!!

Christeen, that is WONDERFUL news. I'm so happy for you!

But, I'm also really, really nervous suddenly. I'd always just assumed that most embassies around the world schedule an immigrant visa interview in the month following your approval. But I just read a thread from someone whose application from the NVC was approved in August and who has STILL not received an interview date at Abu Dhabi. I'm terrified that this means my interview may not be in November or December, and I really, really need it to be. If it's in January or, God forbid, later, I am completely and totally screwed.

Does anyone know how to find out how long it takes an embassy to schedule an interview once you've been approved at the NVC?

Each embassy is different, I would check in the regional forum and similiar timelines and see what is the going time between complete and interview... Good luck!!!

Wow congrats.. so it means how long it will takes from the case complete to your date of interview..

I just check my DHL my Ds230 is already receive there at NVC.

I have called NVC this morning and AVR message was "A packet of information and documents was generated on 10-10-2009 and has been sent. Please follow the instructions carefully and return information "

What this mean ?

I already sent my AOS package and DS 230 is on the way.
