I just contacted the NVC regarding the issue (Sing In Failed), per the NVC, my expedite request has been approved and my wife case has been sent to US embassy in Egypt toady. I am not sure what is going to happed to my AOS documnet that I sent today.

OK... saw this question in the other forum too... In that case you will have to wait for instructions from the Embassy since the expedite is being handled by the Embassy... Did you mail the AOS package already??? If so, you will have to call and find out what to do next...

Okay, I'm worried.

I got a copy of the cover letters the attorney sent to NVC transmitting our AOS & DS230 packages. When I took the stuff over to his office, I put a post-it on the I-864EZ indicating that he should include an explanation in the cover sheet that the 2006 income included my ex-husband's. The tax return was included, as was my W2 for that year, so I'm hoping it makes sense, but I'm really worried about an RFE now.

Maybe we'll get lucky. We *are* Irish, after all.....

julieee don't worry about the tax return forms being filed with your ex in 2006, i was married before and i had my 2006 file with my ex husband on it too, they did not say any thing about it what's so ever , i even had a RFE any thing about it either either all i did was send in the joint return for 2006 nothing else for that year !!!

I sent the AOS this morning, according to the NVC the form will be forward as well. The NVC asked me not to send any new documents and my wife should follow up with the Embassy. When I request the expedite I asked the NVC not to forward my case to the embassy until I send all the required documents (AOS and DS230). It seems they just do not listen. The issue is my wife could not fly right now to Egypt since she is 37 weeks pregnant.

Lily is right, I would not stress too much, they are MUCH more concerned about what you make NOW to support your husband!!!

julieee don't worry about the tax return forms being filed with your ex husband in 2006, i was married before and i had my 2006 file with my ex husband on it too, they did not say any thing about it what's so ever all i send was the joint tax return ( they better not say any thing about yours either lol i even had RFE on 864 and it was about some figures i left ( i was paranoid when feeling out the form )wish you a fast completion !!!!

i paid my IV bill online yesterday, i wasnt expecting that it will show PAID today, i thought i was gonna wait till monday, i will go straight to post office and mail my ds230 after work, does anybody know if NVC is closed on monday being a holiday for some?

okay i called nvc and they said my ds230 was entered in the system and there was nothing wrong with it , but they said some thing about another check list will be generated for me as far as the 864 ,, i was gonna go crazyyyy with that ,, what else do they need and the operator she could not tell me what that was , at least my husband passed his test cuz i was about to call him and say " what did you send to them ? lol julie i need your angel pic for my page too !!

GAH another federal holiday?! I swear, this process has taken SO MUCH longer than I ever expected it to. I was thinking: "man, I've got everything ready, two-week NVC here I come!" Now it's nearly a month that I've had an NVC number, and God only knows how long they'll take approving my AOS and my DS-230.

So out of curiosity, how long is the average time between sending the final packet (DS-230) and NVC approval? Is the average two weeks or so?

did you try more than once? i have transposed some numbers before.

I tried over 9 times and this what I got
