I'm still waiting for my husband's DS 3032 to be accepted....sigh...it's been 2 weeks already....

I called NVC yesterday and the Operator suggested us to mail a hard copy as well....

Oh, the weird thing is, the NVC record message said that they receive our I864EZ on the 5th, but it was delivered to NVC before that, how come?

So confusing....on a positive note, I am visiting my husband on Nov 2!! Can't wait....

Best wishes everyone!

As far as the 864, that is when they recorded it in their system... The good thing is, that usually means that it was accepted! As far as the 3032, 2 weeks seems to be the magic date for many, so hopefully it will get approved in the next few days... Keep checking for the IV fee to be available for payment, then you know its' accepted...

Me... I did my nightly call to NVC to hear that they have not scheduled any interview yet and to check back next week (yea right! Like I can wait till then to call again!!!) A sick addiction now!

Yea, 2 weeks seems to be more or less the time they take to accept in the mean time you can check the NVC payment site to see if the IV bill was posted and if it is you know before hand that the DS3032 was accepted.

That's what I did--full name and case number.

Hi all, I know that this question might have been asked before but I would like to know if I need to send a copy of the documents along with the origionals with the DS230 and also should I put the Document cover sheet first of the cover letter first?

Put THEIR cover sheet first. Send copies of all of the supporting documentation--so, if you're sending the original marriage certificate and birth certificate, make copies and include them. Do the same for any original translations you submit.

The deal is that if you want your originals back at the interview, you send them a complete set of original and one complete photocopied set... I missed that one and never sent a photocopy set??? We'll see... But put your NVC# on each page

Just needs to be a photocopy, nothing special. Make sure it includes the full name, date of birth, picture, and place of birth.

Oh wow... I just totally freaked myself out while reading that page. For a moment I thought I needed to submit a copy of my own birth certificate, but that's just for when the applicant is a parent or sibling of a US citizen, not his/her spouse. Whew.
