A'ight peeps, I'm back in the USA. It was a very tearful parting. My husband is living in substandard conditions. He *did* allow me to at least buy him some jeans and socks while I was there. I showed him a few recipes he can cook on the open hearth with very few ingredients, so I feel better about what he's eating (he'd been living on nothing but apples, potatoes, and nettles for a while there).

Thanks for all of your kind comments to my last post.

The big news is that the I-864 & DS-230 are on their way to the NVC per my attorney. I am praying he assembled it correctly, as I've seriously lost confidence in him. I'm too far into the game, though, to think about changing attorneys. I think he's one of those people who hates paperwork, but loves an argument, and we're going to need a good argument for our waiver after the visa is denied.

So, I'm back in the row boat with all of you....not sure if we made the deadline for scheduling a November interview, as the package just went out yesterday - probably by regular mail. Next week is actually the 2nd FULL week of October, so I'm praying we make it in time & there are no RFE's.

:thumbs::thumbs: Everybody :thumbs::thumbs:

Welcome back Julie! :) Congratulations on the attorney finally getting his act together. Let's hope you get a smooth ride through the NVC!

Ireland, there is a list of physicians that the embassy provides that is approved to do his medical. You an probley find the list here on VJ under Embassy information.

Paris, any word on a possible early interview? Also, are you TOTALLY PSYCHED? :D I know I would be!

Hey Spreec, got email from embassy yesterday in am, they will let me know in a few days, they are fully aware of the situation.

For being psyched, its bitter / sweet. But it will work out!! Ither way, Im off to Paris in November to be with him for a while.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I'm still waiting for my husband's DS 3032 to be accepted....sigh...it's been 2 weeks already....

I called NVC yesterday and the Operator suggested us to mail a hard copy as well....

Oh, the weird thing is, the NVC record message said that they receive our I864EZ on the 5th, but it was delivered to NVC before that, how come?

So confusing....on a positive note, I am visiting my husband on Nov 2!! Can't wait....

Best wishes everyone!

I am having the same problem as you. I sent it on September 22nd and still haven't received any approval from them. I was actually calling them right now but got so disppointed that I thought what's the point, they don't freaking listen to us anyway. They do what they feel like. Trying to stay positive but this whole thing is making me really frustrated. Have fun visiting your husband!

So, I've noticed that these two packets, AOS and IV Bill, have separate ATTN's on the cover sheet. If I'm going to send both in the same packet, who the heck do I address the envelope to? Can I put both "ATTN: CMR" and "ATTN: AOS" on it? How, precisely, does this work?

just put attn CMR thats how i did mine.i put each package in an envelope and both in one and mailed it.

As far as the 864, that is when they recorded it in their system... The good thing is, that usually means that it was accepted! As far as the 3032, 2 weeks seems to be the magic date for many, so hopefully it will get approved in the next few days... Keep checking for the IV fee to be available for payment, then you know its' accepted...

Me... I did my nightly call to NVC to hear that they have not scheduled any interview yet and to check back next week (yea right! Like I can wait till then to call again!!!) A sick addiction now!

That's what I ended up doing. :) I didn't put them in separate envelopes--instead, they're binder-clipped and paperclipped separately. I could barely fit them in the Express flat rate envelope, but I managed! It'll be there tomorrow at noon... yessssssssssssssss!
