I wish to know is this will coz a issue, as per my Birth Certificate name is Sadakat and as per my passport and all other documents is Sadhakat.. a alphabet added extra in documents but the name spelled the same way.... no change in name its a spelling mistake.. My BC was issued in 1979, I Never noticed this mistake all these years.... Your advise and suggestions pls

if submitting application, get an affifavit stating the discrepancy as well as stating that both are one and the same person...it really depends on you fix it in your country...so call your local civl registry too on how they can correct this...you cannot explain this verbally during your visa interview. you have to provide proper legal documents.

I experienced the same, although it's a wrong spelling of my first name on my birth certificate. However, it is not appropriate for me to give you my advice on the process of correcting it because we're not in the same country.

Please request any moderators from this website that your thread be moved to the region (India) where it should be. I think many people can give you advise and help you on that matter.
