I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

I am absolutely thrilled for you! What wonderful news! I have been following your story since joining VJ back in March, and I have been so impressed with your courage and strength. Pervis is lucky to have such a wonderful person as his fiance. You have been so supportive of everyone on VJ never complaining about people getting approved so much faster than you. It is great to hear that NVC has already received your file. My best wishes for them to send it out this week and your fiance to get an interview right away. God bless you both!

in all this excitement it finally hit me what do we do now?

start getting everything together for NVC ASAP! have perviz send some recent passport photos (5 cm by 5 cm on a white background, i believe), the filled out and signed ds-230 (part I) and the filled out and unsigned ds-230 (part II). i guess he would need to send also his original birth certificate, military certificate (if he has to), police certificate (heard for india this is a bit tricky, might want to start getting on top of this now), etc. (all translated and notarized).

you know...the usual....

get going girl!!! i'll pray for you to get all this done ASAP. and i guess have your evidence all ready...maybe that petition would really help at the interview too? :)
