Questions on frms DS-230, 157 & 158

Should the beneficiery fill out the part 2 of the Ds-230 (but not fill out the very last section of it) BEFORE it is sent back to the Embassy. Also are Ds-157 & Ds-158 required....I believe one is only for males? My understanding is most Embassy require just DS-230, 156 & 156K. Help please.

Also on these forms wherte it asks for other names used or aliases do they mean a first name that the person has used all their life istead of their given first name. All my email and chat correspondence with my fiancee shows this "nickname" , never her given name.

No form is just for "males" - If you are a K1, Packet 3 contains DS-230 Part I and Part II, DS-156, DS-156K and DS-157 all must be filled out. Only part I of DS-230 should be signed. You sign part II at embassy. You sign it after you are sworn under oath.

My Packet 3 (which I am preparing now), says 'From DS-230 Part 1'.... it says nothing on Part II... so should i still print it off and include it?? Now I'm confused. lol

also, mine doesn't ask for DS 157
