I am addicted to Starbucks chai tea lattes and I order mine 'extra hot'. That drink is money y'all! It's way too expensive though so it's like a special little treat. Everytime I get a letter from the USCIS I buy one. Oh yeah, and on any day that ends in a 'y'.

BTW and completely off-topic, when I get my citizenship, I've already picked out my celebratory cake....white cake, vanilla buttercream icing with red and blue trim and a Canadian and US flag, natch. If anyone of you out there are naturalized and had a cake to celebrate, please post or send a picture if you have one. I might need to rip off a good decorating idea.

This is the pin I wore to my Citizenship Oath ceremony. It would make a good cake decoration too:-)

Did you order that pin from somewhere Kathryn?

At Tim's I always have an XL with cream. Sometimes a whole wheat bagel with herb cream cheese. It's been so long I don't know that I could go through a drive thru. I'd have to go inside and see what they have now!

I had someone order an XL 7x7 once... There was literally 1 inch of coffee put into the cup. It was like drinking a cup of cream and sugar!

One night a young man came in and ordered and XL 17 sugar and 1 cream. He came in about 4 times that night and ordered the same thing. I never saw him after that night...

 I love that pin!

I'm learning so much about you all! I love it! I never realized so many of you worked at Tim's....and I never knew Tim's started shipping frozen donuts??!!! I must have been holed up in my cave the day that news broke lol...

Like I said, I stopped drnking Tim's coffee a while ago, but i'll still have their cold coffees and food....Even though I don't go there too often anymore, my son LOVES it, so I go for him...and in all honesty, it is a big part of Canadian culture.

I was shocked to watch a Bio about him on A&E one time...his life was actually pretty tragic! He was an alcoholic....mistreated his wife, she became a prescription abuser....he played for Pitsbrg and used to race his cars back across Buffalo to see his kids....he came out of retirement to play one last year for Toronto, and the very car that the team gave him, is the very car he killed himself in, speeding drunk on the highway...his wife sold his name a year later for $1mill, tried fighting it for the next 5 years, and spent $500k in legals....sad.... funny enough, his daughter married the son of the partner that bought the name....they seem to have a modest lifestyle?

ANyways, I was pretty intruiged....

Timmies! I have Timmies! Krikit picked up a tin of Tim Horton's coffee for me when she was back in Canada on holidays and she sent it to me. It just arrived in the mail! Yay! (and thank you so much, Krikit - I really appreciate both the thought and the coffee!)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Hi Carla,

Actually Joe and I received two of those pins at an event sponsored by the Canadian Consulate in Atlanta. I do know that they are available from the Government of Canada as well. Let me see if I can find their website to order one for you and I will post it here. Well here is one website that carries them:

http://www.flagshop.com/?p2=/modules/flags...p;product=11107 This is where we used to order in products like this that the government didn't carry. I'll check now for the Government Supplier. Ok - can't find that source available anymore. Here is another one that looks good though: http://www.pinscentral.com/xq/asp/item.009...amp;st=pc033601

I'd complain to the postman - I am sure she wouldn't have overlooked something so important as that. I'll bet the mailman ate them!

That's true

The other night I said to my Husband, hey, I think I would really like another Turkey, bacon club for dinner, with some more of that deliciousssss soup (we had this the night before).

He did go and get that, but he got taco bell for himself - he is tired of 'the' sandwich :o
