Coffee Time is gross - basically the last alternative if you can't find a Tim Horton's

Second Cup is excellent, but they're more on par with Starbucks...I consider them more of a mall place, they're coffee is brewed strong (which I like) and they have great cookies!

Timothy's...does anyone even care?

Don't kill me friends, but I don't drink coffee - never have! Not sure why, it doesn't appeal to me I guess. People think I'm wierd for that! I do enjoy a good cuppa though, it has to be Tetley (not American Tetley, I bring home Canadian/British Tetley with me in huge amounts). At Tim's I enjoy their hot chocolate and tea with an everything bagel toasted + herb and garlic cream cheese :)

I have a serious confession to make guys.

I do not like Tim Hortons. I don't like their coffee, I find their food way too processed and well, I'm not a huge doughnut fan unless they're homemade jam-buster type things.

I feel like a bit of a heathen or whatnot, but I have never thought Tim Horton's was anything great. OH and on that note? Call me a control freak but I do NOT like someone dressing my coffee for me. Never. I hate being asked that and I hate it even more then I get the evil eye the two or three times I've gone in and asked to dress my own damn coffee... .

It's my damn coffee! Some days I like it super sweet, some days I like it creamy, I don't feel like having to explain that to a Tim Horton's employee every time.

WHEW... that felt really, really good.

Does anyone remember when Tim Horton's changed over from baking the donuts in each store to shipping in frozen donuts? SCANDAL! I was managing a Tim Horton's at the time, and the complaints and the whining were crazy lol. I think I even had a donut thrown at me once...it was kind of funny in retrospect.

When I do manage to get to a Timmie's (it's been almost two years now :crying: ), I always get an XL two cream one sweetener. If I'm hungry, a Turkey Bacon Club with ranch instead of honey mustard and maybe a bowl of their famous chili. Blueberry fritters rock!!

My family is visiting next month, so I think I'll ask them to smuggle me some coffee, hehe.

Yes I was working at Tim's at that time as a cake decorator. I call them easy bake oven donuts now. Take them out of the freezer, but them in the oven, push 2 buttons and wait 3 minutes.

My order in the morning is usually a Medium Tea black and a Bagel BELT on whole wheat. I LOVE the chocolate chip muffins, but they are so bad...

Don't drink coffee either JillA but man do I love the smell of it! Doesn't Tim Horton's have the twice the normal amount of caffeine or is that an urban legend? The last five years I was in Canada, I lived across the street from a busy Timmy's. Occasionally I bought the hot chocolate (really sweet) on frigid days and more than occasionally bought an apple fritter or a chocolate glazed donut. Loved the triple chocolate cookies and the strawberry tarts. I make my own butter tarts but theirs aren't horrible.

I don't drink coffee anymore because I get migraines when I drink it to frequently. However, my loophole in this self-plan is that I allow myself to drink coffee when i'm outside the U.S.

90% of the time, I get an XL 4 and 4 and a plain doughnut (best kind evar!!!). The rest of the time i'll get either a plain bagel, or timbits. :)

I love coffee but I stopped drinking it after I moved down here... I got really frusterated trying to find a decent cup that I gave up! The best thing I've found is a coffee shop called Lamar's Donuts. It's a chain but I don't know if it operates on the East Coast. Anyways, their cappuchinos are good, but the coffee is just ok. McDonalds? No. Starbucks? Ahhh, not so much. Where else?!

as in Quadruple-Quadruple? Good lord - maybe it's the sugar giving you the migraine :)

I had someone order an XL 7x7 once... There was literally 1 inch of coffee put into the cup. It was like drinking a cup of cream and sugar!

There was a guy who would get a L 12 sugar.... That was interesting too. It hurt my arm to stir it!

How about an everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese? Or a honey lemon tea with cream... I'll never understand that.

Nope, I did a whole battery of tests for it about 2 years ago when I first started getting them. The docs narrowed it down to a certain type of caffeine. It is aparently different from the caffeine you get from sodas. I try to severely limit the amount of soda I drink too. It took almost 8 months to ween myself off coffee. God I want a cup and a cigarette now

One night a young man came in and ordered and XL 17 sugar and 1 cream. He came in about 4 times that night and ordered the same thing. I never saw him after that night...
