Mine is definitely not 3lbs either, it's probably 1/2 inch.

Hey guys...

I'm just getting ready to send off my papers this coming weekend, and I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right!!! All I have to send off is I-751, a check and lots of evidence, right? There is NO other form that has to be filled out?! I'm asking because that seems so little compared to last time we filled. Also, my timeline starts September 14th, and I'm sure that I won't get the papers back till December, will I still be able to leave the country for Christmas? We would like to spend it in Germany with my family this year, but as far as I know I was not "allowed" to leave the country last time my papers were processed. So I'm not sure if I can buy tickets or not.

Thanks for all your help!!

Hi Sandy, I think there is another topic going on specifically for traveling while I-751 is pending, but the short story is: once you get the NOA (usually within weeks after submitting your I-751) you should be good to travel. Carry this letter and expired Green Card.

As for the form, as far as I know it's the only form (I-751) that need to be submitted.

Best of luck! I will be filing about the same time as you, but with CSC.

3inch packets? Yikes, I wasn't planning on that much at all.

Here's a list of what I was thinking of sending, would appreciate your feedback on what you guys think:

- last 2 yrs of taxes

- employer provided health insurance info (stating both names, and indicating "spousal coverage"

- beneficiary info for life insurance

- beneficiary info for 401k

- copies of car insurance cards stating both names, dates for the 2 yr period

- copy of joint checking acct statemements for 2yrs

- copy of savings account indicating joint acct

- copy of cell phone bill showing the same 2 lines from the time my spouse (then fiance) came to the US [although only my USC name shown on bill/address]

- copy of itinerary and boarding passes from trip to Europe this yr

- pictures from trip together

- copy of loan info for car we purchased this yr

- pictures, about 10-15 during the 2yr period

You guys think this is enough? I sure hope so! Hopefully I'll get this all together by the end of the week and send of next Monday and add myself to the list.
