Before you met your SO, or even including your SO.

1. What is your age (and are you male or female?)

2. What is the age range you would have CONSIDERED dating,...I know I know, you meet someone you never know, you don't care how old, etc etc but just HYPOTHETICALLY what age range would you have said?

MY ANSWER

1. I am a 28 year old female

2. Were I single, I would go 26-35 (give or take one year or so)

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

1. I'm 24

2. I would look for someone my own age or slightly older, up to 7 or 8 years older. For me, it's about the maturity. I suppose if I found someone slightly younger, but who was very mature, I may consider him.

I met my fiance at 19, when he was 23. At the time, the 4 year age difference seemed huge, but as we've grown as a couple, our maturity levels just about match and it's a perfect fit.

1. I'm 28

2. If I were single, I'd date probably from 25 (though he'd have to be VERY mature) to probably 38 or 39 (Amed is 37). It seems like most of the guys I've dated have been several years older than me. Don't know how it would have worked with a young'un.

I never was very interested in guys younger then me. I dated one and we were NOT on the same level at all.

Im 35 now.

Before meeting Rob, I had a relationship with a guy 3 years younger than me, and another one 13 years older than me.

I'd definitely go always with the older guys... I suppose it's the stability and matureness (is this even a word?) of the old age...

I'm 28 now.

I really wasn't even looking when I met him. I think the upper reaches of even considering being with someone would have been maybe 32. Lower end maybe someone a year younger. It was definitely different for me to be attracted to someone younger. He's 26 now, but when we met he was 24. :D

I am 40

My last relationship before my fiance was with a man 21 years my senior.....it was ok for a while but the age difference did take it's toll in the end.

I would not consider dating a man much younger than myself.

I was 41 when I met my fiance.

At that time I would have considering dating men between the ages of 36 and 45.

My fiance was 32 when we met at my friend's party.

1. I'm 28

2. I probably would have dated within a couple of years of myself.

Javier is 7 years younger than me. He was 17 when we started dating. We are very much on the same maturity level. I work at a college and never would have considered dating a 17 year old American. Way too immature for me. He started working and had a lot of responsibility at a very young age so it made him grow up pretty fast. The age difference never even comes up with us.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Do you beleive that TRUE love can exist between people with a HUGE age gap? I mean like 40 years? Even 30 years?

Yes, it's called a mom and a dad.

I'm a 39 yr. old man.

My fiancee is 11 yrs. younger than I am. I probably wouldn't go more than 12 years younger and no more than a few years older. My ex-wife is a year older than me and with my last serious relationship, my girlfriend was also a year older.

With a huge age gap - I don't know. Practically speaking, that means your spouse (if she's female) is in the childbearing years and will most likely want to have children. Secondly, you will inevitably need to be cared for while she is still is fairly young.

I'm a 33 yr old female, I was 31 when I met my hubby.

At the time, I would consider dating guys that were around my age, and no older than 40. I used to date men that were younger than I was and it never seemed to work out over time. But that's jsut me.
