I should really be sleeping right now since I have to get up for the fajr prayer in a few hours. I'm so gonna regret staying up this late later today. Plus, I know my boy....he'll be up at the crack of dawn (well not quite that early but...), why is it on a work day/school day I have the worst time trying to get his little butt up, but on the weekend he's up and at 'em early as can be? Sigh....so much for trying to sleep in, sah? Anyhow......

Not much going on here at all....ramadan is pretty much the same routine here which i dont mind! My mom is going to be here in ten days insha Allah I still have to get her room ready so I should start on it this week. Hubby starts skool on tuesday which he is soo not looking forward to and I know how he feels! Poor babe! I'm praying for him everyday.

MashaAllah, I am so happy to hear your mother is soon to be on her way to you, HLM. As for school, I know all about that! I started school last week (again). Oh the things we do to better ourselves

Ugh I fell asleep way too early and now I'm wide awake. I have plans to meet a gf for lunch at noon in Dearborn. Argh! I hope I can fall back asleep and catch a few winks before then.

Happy Sunday! As soon as I drag myself away from the pc and hit the shower, the grocery store will be the first thing to do on my list. I wanted to go to the campgrounds today for some fishing, canoeing, paddleboating, etc. but the weather doesn't seem to be agreeing with our activities It's not even going to hit 70 deg today. I must find something to do today that keeps me away from the house chores

Hey Jess, I know the feelings, I leave in three days to Kuwait and I love seeing family but hate hate hate flying, OMG I hate flying, what happens if there is engine problems what will they do pull over to a cloud and check it out. NOT Pray for me and I will pray for you. lol

I am enjoying a day off again! Well I have to measure a house at noon but after that..I am off

I read my daily email from Ibrahim. Sigh. I can't wait til he comes home and we can stop this internet #######. Phone has become too expensive so I hear his voice only once a week. He HATES the cafes~~ so I get 5 emails a week from when he is at work. I can text him and he gets it, but I can't receive his texts, damn pay as ya go phone dont like his carrier in Jordan. Despite these obstacles, we are strong and hanging in there.

Had a bad night, my mom got way worse, actually had to hear the words if she passes we will call...hit me how close it must be now. We saw a big change in her yesterday and sounded like she was getting a coldso will head down that way here soon. not a good thing to hear in the middle of the night, we been fighting this battle since Nov. not something that can really be described

Morning MENA!

My dads 50th birthday party was a success!! He had such a good time despite the 55 degree temps lol. All in all Im very pleased with how it went, food was great, drinks were better, couldnt have asked for much more.

Im off today and tomorrow. We may go to the zoo or the shedd today, havent decided.

Good Sunday to you guys. We also went to the movies yesterday afternoon and I have been getting sick every evening after eating. I think the fact that it is so hot here in Texas and it was so nice and cool in Morocco is getting to me this Ramadan. Anyway have a great Sunday and take care of yourselves.
