So, Received our K1 last week...URRAAHHH!!!

Now comes the daunting task of planning our wedding in as little time as possible

We are planning a destination type wedding and I'm curious to hear if traveling to Hawaii (I live in Boston) will be a problem. As I understand it, we will not need to pass through customs, but will it be a problem if she will use her passport as ID when boarding? Better to get a state ID prior?

On a site note...This forum is awesome!! Although I was very nervous throughout the process I must say this place has never guided me wrong and the timelines are extremely helpful and accurate!

No issue as long as you do not layover in a NON-US city.

Our wedding was okay, but spent our honeymoon filling out USCIS forms. We needed an EAD to get a state ID, but makes you fit into the crowd if you have one.

Oooh, a Hawaiian wedding! I attended one of those this spring and it was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

Have a great time!

Edited to say: Oh, don't forget to very specifically ask for your certificate to be mailed to you, my friend had a hard time, and they don't mail them by default, so be sure to ask carefully what you need to do to make sure it gets to you without all the extra fees. (and that you plan such that it gets to you in time to file for AOS in a timely fashion)
