Hi everyone. I had my interview yesterday at 9:40am.

We left home early but it was raining so hard we almost didn't make it on time.

We got there around 9:35, and we were called at exactly 9:40.

It wasn't crowded at all, you'd think that they just opened or something because there

were less than 20 people in there. Some are interpreters.

I'm sorry.. I forgot our officer's name but he is young and very accomodating.

We did the oath thing, we were asked for IDs and my passport, then the usual questions everyone had to answer that was on his list.

Then he asked for documents to prove our relationship.

I gave him a stack of folders with labels arranged alphabetically and copies already

made for each document. He said with a smile, "man, you are so organized you make my job a lot easier".

He didn't even have to stand up from his desk. Before he started to look at our papers, he just asked who can tell the best story of how we met hehehe.. so i volunteered my husband hehehe.

So while my husband was telling our story, the officer was looking at our docs and gathering all

the copies i've made for each. Then he returned all the originals to me, satisfied with everything.

He asked to see pictures, then i asked if he wants to see our baby's ultrasound pics

and he said sure hehehe. He returned all the pics to me and didnt ask for any copy at all

then he said you are approved and you will receive your green card 2-3 weeks from now.

He took my I-94 but didnt stamp my passport, he just gave it back to me.

Then he gave us this paper about removing conditions and asked if we have questions.

My husband asked why its called conditional green card, and he explained that its to make sure we

married in good faith and that it will still be intact in two years before we apply to have the conditions

lifted.

Well, everything lasted for about 20mins, including wait time from when we arrived there.

I'm glad I didn't wake up too early to be there early or we would have waited longer hehehehe.
