Hey bro,

I 130 taking abot 5 months and or in some cases taking long, it can also approved little early. Your case is at CSC and they are faster then other services centers. You can also check your case status online.. Just got to USCIS site and creat ur login ID and add ur case number, some time you can get updates as they process your case....Good luck

I have just finished the process in April so you can look at my signature and see how long it took to process the I-130. It normally takes several months. With that being said you should start researching the National Visa Center or NVC. That is the next step in the process and understanding what documents you need and when you need them can significantly shorten your time at the NVC. Check out these links:

Other then that take up a hobby and develop patience. Good luck

Cali serv center typically 20-24 weeks..you have recieved your noa1 receit number...Cali serv center will forward your I-130 once it is "approved" to the NVC which will generate a case number...in the mean time collect all your documentation for the upcoming ds-230 and especially the 864 Affidavit of Support..which you will need shortly after the I-130 is approved, and as NVC sends you e-mail notices when to pay fees and send in those documents. Welcome to the journey, as all here will tell you..you will need a healthy dose of patience for the periods of waiting..Best of luck!
