Ok so we went to our Biometrics appointment yesterday and the Lady that took our Fingerprints and Pics wasnt very friendly and very hard to understand (due to a strong accent.).so far so good, everybody has a bad day now and then.

But when she took my Fingerprints she had to do it 3 times over with each hand and my little Finger showed up on the screen as a "Warning Match".....I asked what that was and she just said "Nothing to worry about" instead of explaining.Well HELLO we are talking about Immigration here, something like that happens and I AM scared.

Next thing was that she told me that I am still in the system with my maiden name and I need to take care of that and get an Infopass appointment........she said we probably didnt send a Marriage Certificate in...YES WE DID.

I completley DONT understand what she was talking about. We didnt get an RFE ,not even a touch on our case since July 30 th and all the mail we got from the USCIS since we filed (noa and Bio app letters ) WERE send in my married name !!

Anybody who knows whether I do or do not need an Infopass appointment ???

Just to be safe we did go to the Kiosk and got an appointment for next Thursday but why do I even need it??? Is there anyone I could call to figure oput what she was talking about ??? She didnt explain anything at all and just said I need to take care of that .......

Help I am confused and worried !!!

I have never ever had anything to do with the Police ,much less did I ever have my Fingerprints taken (other than at the various POE's and at the Consulate in Frankfurt) so why would my little finger come up as a warning match ??

It seems like everytime I have anything to do with Immigration I get in trouble (see my entry with the Visa and my Review about Atlanta in 2006 ).........I never had an overstay ,never lied to Immigration and always had the stuff they asked for.........

I really dont wanna have to go up to Seattle again next week and get scared even more.....ANYBODY with advice please ???

Oh and by the way,for everybody having to go to the Seattle Office, they collect 6 $ (cash only) for parking there and there is NO other parking space than their lot.Just so ya all know.We had to find an ATM .....

Sorry to hear that they were rude to you...

I had my biometrics taken 08/28 and to my surprise all people were extremely nice to me there. Probably because afterwards all the applicants had the chance to evaluate their work anonymously.

By the way, I wouldn't worry about "Warning Match" - I had these words almost for each of my finger  Later I read the forums and found that this is very common to many people, nothing to worry about.

If you are still in the system under your maiden name, it's good that you scheduled infopass - better be on the safe side and check it during your appointment.

Hope all goes well.
