Hi, I'm new here and also received the NOA2 hard copy.

I called NVC last friday and the agent told me that they have

received our case last thursday. It brought smile to my face.. :dance:

Do you any idea on how many days will the case stay at NVC?

The agent I talked to told me that its a case to case basis.

I am really excited to be with my husband, I miss him so much.

5/13/09 - I-130 notice date

8/13/09 - I-130 APPROVED

8/25/09 - NVC received & case# assigned

9/04/09 - AOS Bill & DS-3032 email received

9/16/09 - lawyer paid AOS Bill

10/01/09 - NVC received the DS230

10/10/09 - Received via email NVC Checklist Letter Response

10/29/09 - Case Complete

12/09/09 - visa APPROVED

12/10/09 - VISA RECEIVED

12/17/09 - POE SFO

When did you got approved? it's good to know that you already got your NVC#.

May 20, 2009 - I-130 sent

Aug. 21, 2009 - I-130 APPROVED

Sept. 01, 2009 - NVC received & case# assigned

Oct. 19, 2009 - Log-in FAILED (YEPEE!!!!)

Oct. 20, 2009 - Case COMPLETE!!! (confirmed by the NVC operator)

Oct. 27, 2009 - Interview Date assign(By NVC operator)

Nov. 16-17, 2009 - Medical PASSED

Dec. 04, 2009 - INTERVIEW(APPROVED!!!)

Dec. 08, 2009 - Visa pick-up at the Embassy

Dec. 16, 2009 - CFO

Dec. 19, 2009 - My Flight - POE (JFK New York) via NWA

Thank you Lord for guiding me in this journey.

Like ours we received our approval last Aug. 21 and we got our NOA2 last Friday and until now the NVC haven't receive our case.

But when you called last friday they already give you your NVC#? because they already receive your case

*SIGH* Still no NOA2 hardcopy. :( My husband checked the mail Friday and Saturday...nada. Hope we get them all on Tuesday!

To the K3 peeps, when should I start calling the US Embassy for an interview date? NVC said they forwarded our case to the USEM on September 4th. Since it was a holiday September 7th, I figure they need a day or two to receive our file and then enter our stuff into their system.

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!
