Hi All -

Quick question. We got the NOA 1's for my husband's I 485 and EAD dated August 17th. Do we need to wait until they send us a letter for a Biometrics appointment or can we go to our local office and just show them our NOA 1? We live in Los Angeles. Also, do we go to the local office in Downtown LA or is there one closer to Santa Monica?

Thanks!

Jayme

Another important reason to wait for the biometrics letter - it will give you the exact address of where to go and tell you what to bring. You do need the letter - they won't accept you without it.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thanks everyone! Oh joy... more waiting! At least my husband is here with me so the waiting is not such a big deal. Patience is a virtue. :)
