This is so strange. On Dec 15th I got "On December 15, 2009, we ordered production of your new card.". THEN, the next day I got "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident" and was moved from card production to Decision. And now today I get: "On December 17, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION" Shouldn't card production come AFTER approval? Oh well, I dont care! Just as long as I'm approved and getting the card! :)

Have a nice evening everyone!

Hi All, I am preparing for the interview next week Our rental lease was not signed but had our names on it...any advice?

Sign it !, stupid .

I am sure that you could put your name on anything to show "joint relationships" or "real marriage " and they do not check on anything .

He barely looked that what I had for evidence , bank accounts and utilities and so on.

I believe he made notes stating what Ihad .

He told me that anyone could make up fake stuff as evidence so I need to bring in more on me next visit in 2 years , not that what he said makes any sense , giving me ideas as to what I can do to create new evidence , get the picture ??

They don't check anything , sooo , it easy to add your name to any utilities or bank statements , insurance or rental agreements .

You could just go to a office supply store and just buy your own rental agreement and write what you want on it , I am not suggesting you do this because this would be wrong and I hate the idea of someone lying their way into MY country , but you could .

RR

Surprise...I didnt sign it and it was fine.....I was able to explain why it wasnt signed....

Oh my God!!!! Just got a text that my case has been updated and I logged in on the USCIS website.....

"Document production or Oath Ceremony

On December 15, 2009, we ordered production of your new card."

:dance:

I don't know if the call I made to them last week made any difference but it might have!

Oh Happy day! Exactly 3 months from NOA :)

Thank you everyone that's been thinking about me!

I know I am a little late but congrats!!!

The notice welcoming the new resident is just a letter...we got two of those on the same day, a few days after that update. After it said approval notice sent, we got the card! JimandChristy, I realized we got the GC a little after I said in the message...maybe the first week of December. My last case update was 11/27 that says they mailed the approval notice...so Maybe we got it around Dec 1st?? I actually have a touch on Dec 1 as well..

I received my GC in the mail today! It's been 3 months and 1 day since we mailed our AOS package.

Fortunately, I do not have to deal with the USCIS anymore unless I decide to naturalize in 3 years. (I got approved after our 2nd anniversary, so there are no conditions.)

I wish everyone waiting a speedy process. Happy holidays!

We had to stop our celebration because we received a message stating that our case had to be reopen so they can evaluate the desition they took :crying::crying::crying: Anyways, here's the link on what happened, we're hoping everything can get resolved soon.

What this message means?, Should I worry or is ok?

Blessings to all! :star:

You need to file form AR-11 with them, and so do any sponsors that have moved address. You need to also change your address online with them. I have to do this too, but I expect things still to be sent to my previous 2 addresses, because USCIS suck.

Congrats everyone! We may yet see almost all of the September filers get approved before the end of the year! kicking.gif

I doubt it, I finally got my medical to the post office on 12/18 so that should meet their deadline of getting to them by 12/30, but their tracking system says it hasn't left yet. Bah. Final cost was $303 because I needed another Tetnus/Diptheria, I had my TB skin test read at local health department and results faxed.

I am glad to hear you got everything done and sent in! Hopefully you'll hear something before the year ends. I got the approval notice about 10 days after I sent in my response to the RFE. I hope the same for you!!

Cheers..
