Hello fellow September Filers, sorry I've not been on recently, I have been very busy revising for teaching exams to attain certification and applying for numerous teaching jobs. I hope to hear something or anything, to be even called for interview before the Christmas break.

It is so wonderful to see many of us making progress, while I have been away I've always found time to update the spreadsheet and there are just a few loose ends that need tying up to bring it up to date.

First of all congratulations on everyone who was recently approved for their Green Card no more USCIS for two years!

Secondly I want to ask various posters about their case to make sure it is updated:

laura819 - you were approved on 11/23, have you received your green card in the mail yet?

cutedolphinn - you were approved at the interview pending Tdap vaccination, so what should your approval date be?

Martin and Raven - sorry to hear about the USCIS losing your medical documents, it is a disgrace that you have to fork out more money to complete it all over again.

Freyja - hang in there, I would have expected you to be approved by now considering you were transferred a while ago, touch wood you'll get it in time of Christmas.

esoll - you were approved on 11/30, have you received your green card in the mail yet?

caity and ben - you were approved on 11/16, have you received your green card in the mail yet?

clso881 - any word or movement on the rescheduled interview date?

junari888 - any word on an interview scheduled or AOS transfer?

thisislove - you were approved on 11/30, have you received your green card in the mail yet?

1LUVv - any word on an interview scheduled?

Congrats to BigBubble, MonkeyJuice, AllRightsReserved, Gemmie, Tynhi, buckeye17, Bmore, Rutherford and dillon on recent approvals.

Good luck to molaraz on today's interview :)

Approved with only 3 questions asked by the interviewer .

We got to our GC interview 15 minutes early , he came out and looked right at us then invited us back to his office without didn't mentioning our name , he knew from the photos which ones we were .

Asked for proof of who we were and asked me what Larisa's family name was and her father's first name , I knew both names , then asked her our street address which she knew .

Then asked for utilities , ins & bank stuff with both our names on them , no problem , we had plenty .

That was it , we were approved .

He said to apply for a new 5 year GC in 2 years and after we were married for 5 , apply for naturalization .

He also said to bring more proof of relationship on the next visit , like what we had , but more .

GC in 2-4 weeks , can't leave country until then , the AP is no longer valid and we were planning to drive to Mexico today for Larisa's dental work , glad we didn't , she wouldn't

be able to return to Arizona , she would have to go back to Russia and start over with the K-1 visa , that would suck

RR

Congratulations Rutherford!!! :dance::thumbs:

Well, I called USCIS.... This is what they said:

Come back in June/July next year if you still have not received the green card

Even though it says processing time is 4 months on website, it is VERY unusual that I485 gets approved after 4 months and it usually takes a lot longer

So I am no wiser after call. Just decided not to call them again and not to check USCIS website for updates because it only gets me frustrated.

Don't worry dear, you have A LOT of people PRAYING FOR YOUR CASE, so you'll see before December is over you'll get some news.... Just hang in there! Have a great weekend!:star:

Hello,

Yesterday I received my interview appointment letter, for Januray 15th. On the list they give you of stuff to bring to the interview, they say to bring the I-693 if you haven't already submitted it. The thing is that I never sent them that, and they never asked for it with a RFE, I guess because I gave them the medical examination and vaccination info in a closed envelope when I entered the country.

Does anybody know if I need to bring that or not? Any ideas?

If you have already submitted it and you did when you entered , you don't need to bring it , just as the letter states .

Does this help ?

Sign it !, stupid .

I am sure that you could put your name on anything to show "joint relationships" or "real marriage " and they do not check on anything .

He barely looked that what I had for evidence , bank accounts and utilities and so on.

I believe he made notes stating what Ihad .

He told me that anyone could make up fake stuff as evidence so I need to bring in more on me next visit in 2 years , not that what he said makes any sense , giving me ideas as to what I can do to create new evidence , get the picture ??

They don't check anything , sooo , it easy to add your name to any utilities or bank statements , insurance or rental agreements .

You could just go to a office supply store and just buy your own rental agreement and write what you want on it , I am not suggesting you do this because this would be wrong and I hate the idea of someone lying their way into MY country , but you could .

Yes , you did , it's the same thing , you submitted it by handing it over in the sealed enveloped when you entered the country , no difference .
