84 days after NOA today. So frustrating. Still no touch since Oct. I think they just forgot about us.

Ah Freyja, I feel your pain, we went through the same thing when doing the K-1...everyone else was getting approvals after 60 days and we were nearly 2 months behind for no apparent reason :(

I really hope they have some good news for you soon--what a wonderful Christmas gift that would be for you guys! I have you, along with everyone else still waiting, in my thoughts and prayers for a quick response. Would love to see our thread be finished up by the end of December!!

Good luck to those still waiting and congrats to the handful recently approved!

Charmarie

Thank you :) I'm so happy for everyone that has gotten their approvals but every day I get my hopes up and nothing...no email, no touch... But hopefully it's a matter of a few more days or weeks. Hopefully not months!

I'm thinking that the $450 price would be with all the vaccinations but I should be up to what I need with those and have the DS-3025 so the doc can just transcribe that part. Hopefully results will be back quick. Congrats to the interview approvals!

Hi Freyja, Did you really call USCIS? what was the response?

No, haven't contacted them. It says on the website that they can't look into cases that are within normal processing times and the current processing time for AOS at CSC is 4 months. So if nothing happens within the next month, I will call them / try to schedule infopass. I don't know what else to do. But I really, really do hope that I'll at least get a touch in December!!! (still no touch since October) Looking at the October AOS filers forum, there's quite a few of them that already have received their green card approvals...

Hopefully you will have a touch this month, I am praying for you. When I thought I was lagging behind, I called the USCIS and I was luckily transferred to a supervisor in Chicago and 4 days later I received a notice that they have requested expedited service for me and I received interview letter 2 days later.

Let hope and see

Really? You called them? So maybe I should too. Did you call your local office? What did you say? I was afraid they'd just say your case is within the normal processing time and wouldn't talk to me. You have given me hope!!!!!!!!!!! I want to call them. Did you just say you haven't heard anything in a while or what did you say? For me, it has been 3 months since sending the case, 10 weeks since it was transfered to CSC and almost 7 weeks since it was last touched.

Well, I called USCIS.... This is what they said:

Come back in June/July next year if you still have not received the green card

Even though it says processing time is 4 months on website, it is VERY unusual that I485 gets approved after 4 months and it usually takes a lot longer

So I am no wiser after call. Just decided not to call them again and not to check USCIS website for updates because it only gets me frustrated.

Approved with only 3 questions asked by the interviewer .

We got to our GC interview 15 minutes early , he came out and looked right at us then invited us back to his office without didn't mentioning our name , he knew from the photos which ones we were .

Asked for proof of who we were and asked me what Larisa's family name was and her father's first name , I knew both names , then asked her our street address which she knew .

Then asked for utilities , ins & bank stuff with both our names on them , no problem , we had plenty .

That was it , we were approved .

He said to apply for a new 5 year GC in 2 years and after we were married for 5 , apply for naturalization .

He also said to bring more proof of relationship on the next visit , like what we had , but more .

GC in 2-4 weeks , can't leave country until then , the AP is no longer valid and we were planning to drive to Mexico today for Larisa's dental work , glad we didn't , she wouldn't

be able to return to Arizona , she would have to go back to Russia and start over with the K-1 visa , that would suck
