It means you try to just go on whatever day. BUT that doesn't mean they will see you. Probably the best bet is to ask someone that used the same office as you if your office accepts walk ins. Not all do. And in answering your earlier question, my guess would be if you reschedule, it will be for a later date and I doubt that you can pick it. I dont know for sure though. Just my guess.

youre welcome...like i said though, you should check with someone who's gone through the same office! and ask someone who's rescheduled their interview.

Hi guys! Just want to share my good / bad news. I got my biometrics appointment! However it has been scheduled for October 15 and we're going on our two week honeymoon on October 9th... So I will try to reschedule it now. I am surprised how quickly I got the biometrics appointment though!

Happened to me too.... but husband doesn't want to reschedule anything when comes to USCIS.

We were scheduled for Oct 8, supposed to be our post-honeymoon would be on Oct 8-10, we're lucky that the place we are going to stay allowed us to move our stay to Ocy 9-11.

Anyway, goodluck!

Are you just ticking the box on the appointment notice that says you want to reschedule? I am thinking about sending a short letter with it as well because we're away for some time so I dont want to get a new time that again coinsides with our honeymoon. I'd rather get it sooner than later though... wonder if you can say that in the letter, that prefer before honeymoon rather than in late October/November....?

BTW so cool we are always one day apart! One day apart on sending the forms, one day apart on them receiving the forms and now one day apart on the biometrics! :)

We are going to go to the local office earlier from the biometric appointment schedule. We had the infopass, I prayed so I can get my biometric at the time.

So I didn't tick the box in the notice letter, but I went to USCIS website, the local office. You can read about the info in your local office. There they offer infopass, read them what they offer.
