Congrats to NCWife and Laura819! :dance:

Took my driving test today and I can gladly say I passed, it was a doddle, nowhere near as difficult as the UK one. Apparently looking in your mirrors isn't an requirement on the US driving test when you want to negotiate a junction! :blink:

I'm looking forward for that test.... :wacko:

I can't just have a good practice because it keeps raining this last few days..... my foot hurts when raining...

Hey minnew, just took a look at your timeline and it looks like things are going pretty fast for you! Seeing that you got transferred to CSC it's likely you won't get an RFE so I wouldn't be so apprehensive about them - most get them before transfer, because NBC checks the case for all it needs and sends the RFEs. Saying that, there is always some exceptions.

Oh no... too far :wacko: I took my written test here in Charlotte, on Independence Blvd and then I realized there is a closer DMV at Pineville. I will be going there for my road test, less busy and smaller roads! :star:

Nope, a small town called Taylorsville about an hour north of Charlotte. I'm sure you could take your test up here aslong as you have an NC address. My wife says she took the exact same test 7 years ago.

That's correct. I got a RFE a month after my case was transferred to CSC. They asked for a minor thing and that probably delayed my case for a couple of weeks, no biggie. :star:

I think they do work ^_^CSC always makes surprises because they even work on the weekend too or late at night. I noticed that a lot during K-1 process.

Well... maybe the computer system updates at a certain time. I received an update like 6 AM here which is 3 AM in California. I don't think they are paid overtime to work that kind of hours, though I wish they were, to make the fees we paid worth!!

Oh yeah.. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We've got the pie made, the turkey thawed, and everything else ready for preparation in a few hours! Yay.... eat lots and keep warm!!!

We had a touch today saying the approval notice has been sent for I-485, which I am assuming means they sent the greencard! yay! How do I calculate when we have to file removal of conditions?
