They better be working! LOL!!! I so need to call them to ask about my RFE! LOL.....

Anyone know if CSC is working today (since it's Veteran's Day)?

I sooooooo much want a touch!

Laura819 - maybe the same person is working on our cases and he took a long vacation or something!! :(

Yeah... can be done but now I need to find out who is telling me the right thing LOL..... Police Department says one thing, the Sheriff's Office says another.. confusion! LOL..... :)

Now, I finally received the RFE in the mail today.

They are asking for my Certification of Good Conduct from the local law enforcement agency (County's Sheriff's Office or Local Police Department) indicating that I have no criminal record, for the period of 5 years (US only) This is because my fingerprints have been rejected twice as "illegible"

Gotta start working on it now!!!

I haven't really got any answers today since it's Veteran's Day.

Basically, I need a Certificate of Good Conduct from the local law enforcement agency indicating I have no criminal record. I contacted both Police Department and Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's Office does offer the service but it takes 2 weeks and I am not sure that if it's a simple or full version. Police Department does that too and it takes 5 minutes for the simple version and for the full version, I need to go to the court house which will take a longer period of time. The girl from PD told me I may need to go to the court house to get the full version for immigration purposes but then again, in my RFE letter, it seems that I can just the simple one from the PD. So I don't know.

I will have to call USCIS again and ask, only if I can get hold of a live person.. Once I get an answer, I will let you guys know.

1LUVv, is that for an EAD? Most people get that update then another identical one about a week later when it is actually mailed. I believe when it says "we have mailed you a notice saying we have approved..." is when they actually mail it. Should recieve it 7-10 days from now.

Martin and Raven, Thank you. I never received any touch and receive this sudden email . I will look out then. I also got a mail on Monday that I-485 is transferred to National benefit center for interview date, was it suppose to be transferred to CSC or NBC??

Got an email from uscis telling me that my son's working permit card was returned to the post office :( .I wondered about that since when i changed my address online,they even sent me a confirmation letter that they already put my new address into their system,i even got my son's first biometric appointment notice here.also,how come they were able to deliver mine and not my son's?and before we left idaho,we went to the post office there and changed our address too.oh well.... :whistle:

Anyway,i already called their hotline and she told me that she made a request to deliver it again to my new address and gave me confirmation number.i hope to get it ASAP.
