Received the EAD card today just 8 days after biometric appointment. Pretty good, I think.

Immediately drove 4 mi. to SS office but it is just pending in their computer. I am too fast. Oh well. We will just wait a few weeks for that.

Watching for my mailman now is like when I am expecting a refund check

Out of interest did you also apply for AP? Just I have you down as not applying for EAD or AP.

What was the approval date on the EAD?

I sent in my second application for the I-485 as soon as I received a RFE letter - Sept. 1. At the same time we asked for EAD but not the AP. The letter included with the EAD is dated Oct. 27.

The truth is she will probably not work any time soon but I would like to get SS number for many reasons. She does hope to return home for a visit in January and that is looking good as I believe out green card will arrive before then. Especially with no interview planned.

Yeah, losts of candies. But we went to watch Ducks' game last night so really great day.

I bought loads of candy thinking we'd get plenty of trick or treaters and only TWO came by! So my hubby and I ate most of the candy. Not a good idea! New week beginning soon and new month has started, hoping it will be a good one for all of us with plenty of approvals!!!

Hi all,

I have a question about a status for my AOS.. and thought this was the best place to ask since all of you are following very similar path to me.

This is a little bit about me

8/26/09 – USCIS received the packet (I-485, I-130, I-765)

8/31/09 – Notice date for (I-130, I-765)

9/04/09 – submitted AR-11 (Change of Address form)

9/18/09 – Touch for I – 130

9/26/09 – received a letter for biometric test for Oct 20th in Jacksonville.

10/20/09 – Biometrics done in Jacksonville, FL for (I-485, I-765)

10/21/09 – Touch for I-485 & I-765

I was still awaiting for my EAD card.. or email about EAD approval. However, today, I get an email saying "The last processing action taken on your case". I was curious to see what that meant so went to my case update and my I-485 was on its last stage called "Document Production or Oath ceremony". What does that mean?? Does that mean I got approved for my green card (since I didnt apply for AP)?? I still have not gotten my EAD card... Any comments will be truly appreciated.. thanks!! Happy November!
