Same here.... Can't work if there isn't a way to get to work :( Gonna get my resume polished and prolly go to a recruitment agency to have them help me in finding a job. :)

I'm waiting for the ECE (Foreign Credentials Agency) to convert my UK qualifications into US form. I'm expecting them to complete my application tomorrow and should receive the report some time next week. Then I can apply for certification to teach in Georgia at long last and see if there any courses I may need to take. It shouldn't be too many, I have been teaching in the UK for the past 3-4 years!

Once that is sent off I will go into the city to a career center and get my UK CV changed over into a suitable US Resume. Much prefer to sit down with someone who knows in detail about US resumes rather than me starting from scratch and going in blindly.

Have you tried to set up an account (Username and password) with the USCIS and see if you can add your case numbers to a portfolio. Just, it saves time having to put in the case number every time you go to the website, when you can just log in.

What to do ?

Use your old account, they might just ask you to change password. Then you can add your cases in your portfolio.

Did they use the biometrics photo or the passport photo you sent in?? Mine used the biometrics mug shot.... so upset because I looked like criminal there LOL...

I am going to be upset too since we had to send 6 in when we filed! Don't know where you guys went to get your pictures but at the Walgreens I went to we had to pay $8.00 for two pictures...total of 6 pictures so we paid like $25.00! And then they just end up using that one you do at the biometrics appointment. UNREAL! okay rant done...sorry. LOL

Hey.. I have Indonesian friends.... and they are so nice. I've got a very nice gift from them, I brought it with me. It's like a miniature sword with cute carvings. My husband like it.

Let's see.... Hehehehe.... They invited me too to visit them. After a year, maybe me and husband visit first Philippines.... then have vacation in Italy (my husband's mom side came from). We need to save first.... :wacko:
