hello, everyone! good to see things are moving fast with you guys. i still dont have anything after NOA1 last 23rd sept. but when i called USCIS yesterday, i was told that this might be because of the issuance of my military ID (dependent) card where i already had my biometrics last august. we're hoping that could be the case otherwise, we have a problem.

A touch or a date update on your case is always a good thing. That means your case was being opened/touched or whatever and not just sitting there "abandoned" and collecting dust. Most of the time, a touch does not result in a status change. No worries, I believe things are also moving for you, just have faith and patience! :thumbs:

First of, thank you guys for your help regarding the RFE( for me to send them proof of legal entry) i sent back to USCIS.. I sent them a letter via first class mail only two days ago saying that I am a Canadian citizen, can into the United States as a visitor was not issued and I-94 upon entry and to my greatest suprise the "last updated date" on my I-485 and I-765 was updated today (reflecting todays day) just after USCIS recieved my responce yesterday.

My questions are:

(1) The status have not changed yet even though the last updated date have changed. Does that mean anything nagative or my application is still on hold?

(2) How about my I-130 and I-131, what possibly can i expect of thoes since nothing have been done on them?

(3) The last updated dates on my I-130 & 1-131 are still showing 09-29-2009 does it mean they havent worked on thoes cases yet?

(4) Anyone with a similar experience, kindly share!

Yep, the lady at the entrance asked if I had any other ID or document with my new name. I brought both my SSC and marriage certificate and she said marriage certificate was sufficient. It may not be the case for other ASC but bringing one with you could ease the process if they ask for one.

Oh & thanks for the tip about the marriage certificate, I wouldn't have thought of that.

I haven't been logging in to the USCIS website but I did so now and AOS had a touch on Oct 5 (right after transfer to CSC) but AP and EAD has had no touches since Sep 18!!! :(

Right. Even though I already did bio. So I am getting worried...my hubby REALLY needs to be able to work. Until one of us gets a job, we are stuck in my parents house (I am the USC). I have a temp. job but thats lasting only 2-3 weeks so its not enough.

You sent your package a few days after me so I believe you will get an update soon. I didn't get any touch on my EAD (I didn't apply AP) until today they notified me of the card production.. So hang in there....

AHHHH!! Woke up this morning to emails and case updates saying EAD and AP are approved!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to be a great Friday! Congrats to everyone! NCWife, congrats on the transfer!

SO happy we did early biometrics. I knew it would pay off.
