I did not submit an I-693. I read that our Moscow one should be in our file and it would suffice. If this will not do then I will wait to hear from them.

Chicagoguy

I guess I should join the discussion on this thread too.

We filed our AOS in Sept.

We got the three NOA1 letters in the mail last week, all 3 are dated Sept 23. I opened an account and tried to add the case numbers (all start with MSC-xxxxxx), it is still telling me "Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number." It won't accept the dashes, so of course I'm putting in the numbers without the dashes.

Has anyone else run into this? I'd like to be able to track the touches and get the CRIS emails etc., like y'all are doing.... I remember doing this back during the K1 process, but I don't think I had a problem entering the receipt number as I do now.

Added to the spreadsheet, did you submit the I-693 medical form with your package?

Case transferred to CSC on Oct 2!

Congrats looks like it's no interview then. Added to the spreadsheet

Rescheduled my Biometric appointment from 10/13 to their new date of 10/22. Seems fair on their part. But I will still try a walk in on Monday, 10/5.

What I don't understand is they also sent another letter saying my case had been moved to California Service Center. I thought it was in Chicago. They claim: "to speed up processing".

I've changed your Biometrics date on the spreadsheet since you've rescheduled but keep us updated if you do walk in. Your case being transferred to the CSC means you won't be required to attend an interview. Also did you submit a I-693 form with your package?

I got another touch today on I-485.

jim&Christy, did you get any touches on EAD/AP before being approved?

I only got one touch on the EAD on the same day I had my Biometrics 9/24 before approval. The AP was only touched once as well on the 4th Sept before approval.

Guys,

I am going to try to do a biometrics walk-in tomorrow. Got a new appointment (original was on 10/15 new one is on 10/24) and want to try a walk-in instead. When it says that no cell phones (and cameras etc) are allowed - does it mean you can bring your cell but not use it (or they take it from you and keep it until you leave) or can you actually not bring a cell at all? Maybe stupid question but want to be able to call my hubby when I get out of there and thats difficult to do without a phone..

Thanks! Hope you're all having a good weekend!!!!

I sent in a partially filled out I-693 with an explanation that the medical was done in Moscow recently and included a sealed envelope from a local civil surgeon concerning vaccinations .

Maybe the I-693 was not necessary , but I believe it's better to be more complete with info

I'm gonna be busy preparing for our trip in this week. I am going to have my biometrics on Thursday. I hope after that I could have some touches.

Anyway.... I am happy to see that everyone on us are doing great. Welcome to other September filers. Don't forget to share your experiences.

It's so cold today..... 39 degrees F. I just shopped for sweaters and sweat pants last weekend. I really bought thicker ones. Hahahaha! I didn't know that I will need so much of it.

Hey Laura..... I find the icy hot at Jewel, but also at Walgreens, they have pocket warmer...that last for 10 hours... I guess it would be great for winter. My foot isn't hurting so much. Thanks!

Oh they have pocket warmers in US???? I thought its only in Asia (that's the only place I have seen them!) Maybe I will look today, I have to go to Walgreens anyway. Have fun planning for your trip and good luck with biometrics!
