Rescheduled my Biometric appointment from 10/13 to their new date of 10/22. Seems fair on their part. But I will still try a walk in on Monday, 10/5.

What I don't understand is they also sent another letter saying my case had been moved to California Service Center. I thought it was in Chicago. They claim: "to speed up processing".

That means you shouldn't have an interview!

I got another touch today on I-485.

jim&Christy, did you get any touches on EAD/AP before being approved?

I guess I should join the discussion on this thread too.

We filed our AOS in Sept.

We got the three NOA1 letters in the mail last week, all 3 are dated Sept 23. I opened an account and tried to add the case numbers (all start with MSC-xxxxxx), it is still telling me "Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number." It won't accept the dashes, so of course I'm putting in the numbers without the dashes.

Has anyone else run into this? I'd like to be able to track the touches and get the CRIS emails etc., like y'all are doing.... I remember doing this back during the K1 process, but I don't think I had a problem entering the receipt number as I do now.

Added to the spreadsheet, did you submit the I-693 medical form with your package?

Case transferred to CSC on Oct 2!

Congrats looks like it's no interview then. Added to the spreadsheet

I've changed your Biometrics date on the spreadsheet since you've rescheduled but keep us updated if you do walk in. Your case being transferred to the CSC means you won't be required to attend an interview. Also did you submit a I-693 form with your package?

I got another touch today on I-485.

jim&Christy, did you get any touches on EAD/AP before being approved?

I only got one touch on the EAD on the same day I had my Biometrics 9/24 before approval. The AP was only touched once as well on the 4th Sept before approval.

@scandal

Yeah, just put your case number in the portfolio part, all of the numbers without space or dash. I did mine like that:)

That's what I did. It's MSC followed by 10 digits. It still won't accept it however. I'll wait a few more days, then try again.

I guess I should join the discussion on this thread too.

Thanks. Yeah, we did. We sent off the vaccination form to Dr. Arnold in Texas, and he transcribed it to the I-693. We included his sealed envelope along with the AOS package.

All I have received before was appointment for Biometric and a receipt for I-765[ Application for Employment ]. We asked for this with K-1 but are asking again. She doesn't need to work but she really need a SS number badly.

And then on Oct. 2 the Transfer Notice to California. People must be right that it means no interview as if it was in Chicago before it wouldn't make sense to send it out there.

Dropping in on the September group since we kind of fall between August and September. :)

We had something unexpected come up. The day after our biometrics appointment, I received an email and text-message saying that the Travel doc was approved and the EAD was sent to production. Nothing on the AOS yet but I'm sure that'll come soon.

Woot!
