Hello there

We also sent our AOS papers on 29th Sept by USPS certified mail. I did track it online but it still says " There is no record of this item"...

Im living in TX, i am wondering how long does it take to Chicago?? We sent it to P.O.BOX but can get return receipt??

Do H1B visa holders every get transfered to the CSC office? I haven't had a touch since 9/11 and 9/18. I did my walk- in Biometrics on 9/19 and still no touches for two weeks now.

The timeline:

10/16/03 Moved to US on H1B (good for 3 years)

08/24/06 Second H1B (good for another 3 years)

07/01/07 Met husband

07/27/08 Engaged

03/14/09 Married- snowy, winter wedding in Vermont!

WOW! how fast! congrats! I just got a touch and the update saying my case has been transferred and is processing. Still NOTHING on EAD/AP.

I guess I should join the discussion on this thread too.

We filed our AOS in Sept.

We got the three NOA1 letters in the mail last week, all 3 are dated Sept 23. I opened an account and tried to add the case numbers (all start with MSC-xxxxxx), it is still telling me "Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number." It won't accept the dashes, so of course I'm putting in the numbers without the dashes.

Has anyone else run into this? I'd like to be able to track the touches and get the CRIS emails etc., like y'all are doing.... I remember doing this back during the K1 process, but I don't think I had a problem entering the receipt number as I do now.

Yeah, just put your case number in the portfolio part, all of the numbers without space or dash. I did mine like that:)

Rescheduled my Biometric appointment from 10/13 to their new date of 10/22. Seems fair on their part. But I will still try a walk in on Monday, 10/5.

What I don't understand is they also sent another letter saying my case had been moved to California Service Center. I thought it was in Chicago. They claim: "to speed up processing".
