Oooh... co-sponsor is fine provided the required income is met. As for me.. ummm.... my I-94 expired more than a year ago (9/14/08) so not pretty.. LOL.

I don't think it really matters how long after I-94 expires to adjust status does it? I doubt you will have problems adjusting because of that. :star:

That's outrageous. Total rip-off.

I had to do the full medical all over again since my K-1 medical was more than a year old. I called a few CS and we found one that was decent and honest in my opinion. They charged $232 or something for everything, that included my Tdap vaccination. I had to do x-ray too for my TST false positive but we went to the health department to get that done since (1) it is required by law here that I have to report to health dept for any TST positive, and (2) the CS does not take insurance.. In the end, it all worked out okay. Saved the $80 for x-ray!

coz the civil surgeon said so. i even had the blood test for Hiv and varicella titer. I insisted that i only need him to transfer my DS 2035 to I-693, but he told me that the hiv and rpr (whatever that is) back in the phil is only valid for 3months and should be re tested and USCIS requires this test. my husband was tired so he just told me to go with it. we paid $235!! then the xray was $85!!. goodness gracious, so expensive! didnt ur CS required it from u?

Yay... 8/15 is a good date! LOL

Although the immigration does not give a deadline as to when to apply for AOS after entering and marrying on K-1 but it's definitely not a good idea to be out of status. And I have been out of status for.. umm... a year! Yikes!

Nope, did not send anything to explain. It was not a requirement so I just send whatever that is asked for and I didn't want to complicate the paperwork further. I figure if they need to know, they will probably ask us during the interview. I guess..... :)

Cheers..

Just to update the spreadsheet, I need to know whether you sent off the I-693 medical form with your AOS package thanks.

Are there any other users here that I've missed who would like to be added to AOS filers for September?

The sealed envelope from the civil surgeon in Arizona and a partially completed I-693 and explaining on the cover sheet that she had a complete medical check up in Moscow just a few months ago is all we sent in .

BTW , Larisa needed no other shots form the doctor .

I have created a spreadsheet time line for AOS September filers, if anyone would like to be added to the sheet or if there are any errors, incomplete values just post in this thread and I will make the necessary changes. Also any recommendations or improvements for the sheet would be greatly appreciated.

There are only two sets of data that is outstanding:

1) Whether you submitted the I-693 Medical Form with your AOS Package

2) Whether you intend doing an early walk in on Biometrics and if so when or if you are not and are attending Biometrics on the date that was given to you by USCIS.

Thanks :)

AOS September 2009 Filers

1) yes, we submitted 1-693 with AOS.

2) we hope to get the schedule for biometrics next week when we get back from our travel and from there we will decide whether or not we intend in doing an early walk in because we'll be gone again for another month.
