Okay, I've been dating my boyfriend (US citizen) for almost three years, I was here three summers on J1 student visa, never overstay, now we got engaged, so my question is what do you think is it better to apply for fiancee visa or to get married? I need something that I will wait for less, and if we get married could I wait here for interview, cuz my J1 expires on November 15th or I have to go back home?

Thank you so much

Please read this guide. It is possible you could apply for AOS while in the US but it could be difficult.

If your fiance/fiancee came to the US on a tourist visa with the intent of immigration and marriage, and you are not yet married, then he/she should return to his/her home abroad, and the K-1 visa should be filed (using an I-129f) instead of the I-130 to avoid a denial, deportation, or even being banned from re-entry to the US.

Where do you want to marry? Here or back home?

Based on your circumstances it appears you can marry and file to adjust your status to green card directly without leaving the USA...

Stay here in the US, get married, start the filing process so you can adjust your status. The type of visa is CR1.

ummm... no, if she is here in the USA she does not need a visa (CR1)... she simply would go straight to greencard. A visa is needed to enter a country, the OP is already here.

Moving

We want to marry in US, my student visa expires on Nov 15th so we thought if we get married before that I don't have to leave country and wait for green card here?!?!

Yes you can... your USC husband submits an I-130 and you submit an I-485 & I-765 at the same time and then you wait here for a decision

YMMV
