I somewhat, have an excuse when people ask.

''Why isn't your husband here?''

''He's deployed until April 2010.''

''Oh, well, where is he?''

''Kuwait..''

''Why would the Canadian forces be in Kuwait?''

''He's US forces...''

Normally, the conversation ends after I say April 2010....but some people...grrr.

Yay Court! Hopefully it's approval time. :D

I've got to say - I hate talking to people about immigration who've never gone through it. Or repeating the same thing to family members who can't seem to grasp the concept. And to think - this is our second go around with immigration. Ughhhhhhh.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

I dont answer them anymore, I just beat my head against the wall, they seem to understand the immigration frustration better that way. LOL I've got a lot of walls to repair.

I am lucky I have several friends also going through this crazy process.

As for my family they have learned not to ask unless they want a 30 min lesson.. HEHE it sure keeps them from asking... :)

Beth, sweet jezus...... well making the holes in the wall just gives you a little something extra to do befor hubster gets here, never a bad idea ;)

I dont want to get my hopes up ladies ... it could just be that supervisor looking into my case as she promised me she would.

still :dance::dance::dance:

Ok so finally after two weeks of calling every single day I got a straight answer today from a very nice lady in USICS...

My case is not being processed and its because my husband already had a SS# (or so she thinks thats the reason)

He had one from last trip to the states. Aparently the last person i talked to lied to me stated I was in additional processing. This very nice lady took my cell phone number and then stated she would call me back after she had more information and spoke to her supervisor. I do not know if its a good or a bad thing but at least this lady was nice and didnt give me the whole it hasnt be 6 months dont call back for 4 weeks line.

Ok done ranting... I guess i will go back to actual work so that I can keep my mind off of the joys of the immigration process.

Courtney - My hubby lived in US in the past as well - and he has a SS# from back then. Does not mean your case should not get processed. Call and talk to another rep

if i hear "your married why isnt he here" again i will just scream.
